NEWS & NOTES
Dress Down Day: We will have a "Blue Day" tomorrow, April 4 to show our support for child abuse prevention. Students and staff are welcome to dress down in blue clothing.

Butter Braid Pick Up: Don't forget to pick up your Butter Braid and Wooden Spoon Cookie Dough orders on Tuesday, April 8 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the West/Gym entrance. Orders must be picked up that day. We are unable to freeze unclaimed items.

Chick-Fil-A Lunch: The Home and School Association will be hosting a Chick-Fil-A Lunch fundraiser on Wednesday, April 16! Please complete the order form and turn it in by Friday, April 11Sorry, no late orders will be accepted.

Middle School Dance Volunteers
: Our middle school students are looking forward to their dance on Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. We are in need of several middle-school parent volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly. Please visit our signup page to check out open volunteer opportunities. 

Musical Movie Day: The cast and crew of Alice in Wonderland, Jr. are hosting Movie Day on Friday, April 25 from 3:30-5:45 p.m. in the Gym! All students are welcome to attend. Please return the permission form with payment to the School Office by Monday, April 14

Lost & Found: Have you been praying to St. Anthony to find your child's lost item(s)? Come check our Lost and Found! It is overflowing with coats, water bottles, and more. Stop by the bin outside of the School Office by Friday, April 25 to locate anything your child has lost. Unclaimed items will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul after that date. 

VIP Day: We are excited to welcome our VIPs to St. Charles on Friday, May 2! Donuts and beverages will be available for students and their VIPs following Mass. Students and guests must register by Monday, April 28 on our sign-up form. Please note that each student should be signed up separately. 

Mother-Son Event: Save the date for the St. Charles Mother-Son outing on Sunday, May 18. The Home and School Association will host a bowling afternoon at Sussex Bowl for moms and their sons! More information coming soon.

Baptisms at St. Charles: Are you interested in having your child Baptized at St. Charles? We look forward to supporting your family in receiving the sacrament of Baptism for your child(ren). Simply email baptisms@stcharleshartland.org to inquire, and a member of our team will be in touch with you. Also, visit our Baptism homepage to view the latest Baptismal preparation resources including the Baptism Request Form and Godparent Letter of Reference. A FAQ for Parents is coming soon! Through Baptism, we look forward to your child coming to participate in the full and rich sacramental life of the Church and into a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Companion Book Project: Our 7th Graders have been working hard for many weeks to create their Companion Books, which accompany and elaborate on already published books. The goal of the Companion Book is to provide the reader with a deeper understanding of concepts, themes, characters, settings, and ideas in the original work. Our 7th Grade scholars shared their books with Mrs. Hanaway's 4th Grade class yesterday!

Shorts Policy: As a reminder, students may wear uniform shorts throughout the rest of the school year. Please contact the School Office with any questions.
