St. Charles Parish School provides a Catholic education that enriches the spiritual, intellectual, social, moral, physical, and personal knowledge of students and guides them in the deepening of their relationship with Jesus Christ and living out their faith in the word.

Early Childhood Preschool Admission Eligibility
3K Preschool
Children entering 3K must be three years old on or before September 1. Students must be capable of independently caring for their basic hygiene needs as described in our Bathroom Policy. This includes:
- Able to ask to use the bathroom (outside of bathroom breaks).
- Able to use a school bathroom independently from start to finish.
- Does not use pull-ups during school hours (including nap time).
- Able to clean up and change after an accident independently.
4K Preschool
Children entering the 4K class must be four years old on or before September 1 and must be capable of independently caring for their basic hygiene needs.
Early Childhood Preschool Overview
We offer multiple options for students enrolled in our 3K and 4K programs, including attending school 2-5 days per week as well as for half days or full days. On-site after-school childcare is available; please note this program does fill quickly.
Students in 3K-4th Grade attend Mass on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Once a month, our entire school (3K-8th Grade) attends Mass together.
Our preschool students are also not required to wear uniforms. Students begin wearing uniforms in 5K.

Extended Care, After-School Program
For 3K through 5th Grade families seeking extended care, St. Charles Parish School offers an after-school program. Teachers plan age-appropriate arts and crafts, table activities, group games and homework assistance. A snack is provided to students attending our after-school sessions. Maximum daily attendance is limited to 20 children; this program does fill quickly.
When:
Regular school days – 3:25 pm until 5:30 pm

Families with one or more students enrolled at St. Charles Parish School are welcome to sign up!
Curriculum Information
The curriculum is responsive to individual differences in ability and interests. Varying levels of ability and learning styles are expected, accepted and used to design appropriate activities.

Interested in applying?
Students of all races, creeds, and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The enrollment process begins in mid-January and remains open prior to the beginning of the school year depending on enrollment. Waiting lists are frequently started shortly after the application period opens.
St. Charles utilizes the FACTS online platform for the application process. You will create an account with FACTS and follow the prompts to tell us about your student(s), provide contact information, etc. If you have any questions about the online application, please contact our office during business hours.
- After your application is received, the admissions committee will carefully review your child’s admission forms. You will be contacted in a timely manner about your child’s class placement.
- A non-refundable $200 registration fee must be received to complete enrollment.
- St. Charles Parish School will contact you to explain the next steps in the admission process.
