NEWS & NOTES
Dress Down Day: We will be having Pajama Day on Monday, February 24 per our Principal for the Day Charlie! Students and staff are welcome to dress down.

Assisted Listening Instructions: Our Worship Team has updated the "Assisted Listening Instructions" guide to reflect the new version of the WebCAST app for 2025. These new user-friendly instructions include a new table of contents, sub sections for iPhone, Android, and St. Charles provided devices, troubleshooting tips, and Worship Team contact information. Also, a new short video is available to walk you through how to download the WaveCAST app and connect to St. Charles' Assisted Listening (ASL) Wi-Fi network with ease. Don't miss how to instantly increase the volume from your smartphone with a simple swipe of your fingertip!

Congratulations, Piano Students: St. Charles piano students, studying with Kathleen Latzke-Daley, participated in the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs' Federation Festival in early February. Of the forty entries in piano solo and music theory, thirty-five received the highest rating of Superior, and five received Excellent ratings. These are incredible results! Eighteen students have qualified to participate in Piano Solo at the State Level in May. Congratulations to all of our students who competed. We are so proud of your hard work!

Finance Park Field Trip: Our 7th Graders recently went on a field trip to the Finance Park through Junior Achievement! Leading up to the visit, they learned about personal finance and the creation of a monthly budget in Social Studies. At Junior Achievement, students were given real-life scenarios including having a family, a job, an annual income, etc. They were then given the task to create a monthly budget and needed to make the best financial decision based on their monthly income. Students did a great job, and they learned a lot about personal finance!
Crusader Cheer Squad: Thank you to our Crusader Cheer Squad for cheering on our 7th Grade boys' basketball team last Saturday and the 6th Grade boys' Black Team at the St. Jerome Tournament!
