MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Our 3rd Graders enjoyed traveling back in time to
the late 1800s!
They transformed the classroom, ate authentic food, learned in a one-room classroom, played marbles, presented their interesting facts, and watched the Little House on the Prairie episode where Laura and Mary first went to school.
NEWS & NOTES
Parent ReconciliationSchool parents are welcome to join us for Reconciliation today from 10-11 a.m. in the Church. Our last Parent Reconciliation opportunity of the year will be on Thursday, May 16 from 10-11 a.m. Mark your calendars!

Spring Concert: We are looking forward to our Spring Concert on Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. in the Church. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, all students should remain with their family. At approximately 5:45 p.m., teachers will report to the rear of the church, and at that time, your child should make their way to find their teacher/class. Students should not be left unattended prior to the concert and need to sit with their family until teachers arrive. At the conclusion of the concert, students will move to a designated area in the corridor or narthex where you can retrieve them from their teacher. All 3K, 4K, and 5K students will return to their families after their performance and will remain with you until the end of the concert. After your child performs, please have one parent retrieve them from the Pre-K staff.

VIP Day: We are excited to welcome our VIPs to St. Charles on Friday, May 3! Donuts and beverages will be available for students and their VIPs following Mass. Students and guests must register by today on our sign-up form. Please note that each student should be signed up separately. Check out the sign-up page to volunteer at the event and/or to donate donuts, water, and juice!

Student Council Update: Student Council is very happy to announce that we collected lots of donations from students for our color dress down day! These donations went to our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Thank you to students and parents for bringing in hundreds of donations. Student Council plans to do this again next year, as well!

Uniform Upcycle: The Uniform Upcycle is back! Please donate your gently-used uniform items to St. Charles. There will be a bin outside of the School Office starting next week.

Be a Buddy: With record enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year, we are in need of lots of Buddy Families for our new Crusaders! When you volunteer to be a Buddy Family, you are matched with a new family to help them feel welcomed into our community. This includes a welcome email, answering any questions about St. Charles to the best of your ability, optional meet-ups before the school year begins, and our annual Popsicles in the Park event in August. Please contact our Buddy Family Coordinator via email if you are interested in this fun role!

Homework Club Update: Monday, April 29 is the last time our Homework Club will meet this school year! Thank you to Mrs. Hanaway and Mrs. Henkel for organizing and running the club this year.
