We loved seeing all of our VIPs at VIP Day on Friday!
It was wonderful to come together as a community at Mass, and students loved showing off their classrooms to guests. A special thank-you to Kristen Jessup, Sarah Trapp, and all of our parent volunteers who helped make this day a success! Thank you to everyone who donated food items, too!

COVID Update: We currently have one student and one staff member at home in isolation for testing positive for COVID. Additionally, we have four students in quarantine due to being considered a close contact outside of St. Charles. Please remember to continue monitoring your child's health daily and keep your kids home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well. 

Special Dress Down Day: There will be a special dress down day on Friday, May 20, which is open to any student who brings in $1. This money will go toward a goodbye gift for Fr. Nick. Please turn your donations in to your homeroom teacher. 

Library Updates: Next week is the last week to check out books only if all overdue books are already turned in! If your child is working on a project, Mrs. Acker will extend the due date. Please email Mrs. Acker if you have any questions and/or if you need an extension. All library books are due the week of May 23. Thank you for all of your support in your child's reading journey this year! 

Staff Departure: As many of you know, Mrs. Wilson (8th Grade) is expecting her first child any day now and will not be returning next year. We are very sad to see her go but are so happy for her and her husband as they begin their family. Mrs. Wilson will be enjoying her days at home with her little one!

What a wonderful concert last Thursday!
A huge thank-you to Mr. Sudbrink for putting together a stunning show for our kiddos and families. Thank you to Mr. Garvey and Mr. Maltsch for participating in the concert, too!

Little Mermaid, Jr. Spring Musical: Tickets are still available for our Little Mermaid Jr. performances on Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m.! Please visit our website for more information and to purchase tickets. Come join us under the sea!

Athletic Registration: Athletic registration is open for the 2022-2023 school year! To sign up or for more information, please visit our website. Registration closes on Saturday, June 18!

Choir Updates: Mrs. Kasun recently sent out information to families about Youth Choir and Schola. If your child participates in one of our choirs or is interested in joining next year, please check out our website for more information. 

Piano Lessons: Kathleen Latzke-Daley will continue to offer piano lessons at St. Charles for the 2022-2023 school year. Piano lessons are 30-minutes long and are offered weekly during the school day, during recess, or sometimes after school. Buddy Family Program: Are you looking for a way to meet new families and volunteer for the school at the same time? The Home and School Association is looking for family volunteers to participate in the Buddy Family Program for the 2022-2023 school year. The time commitment to volunteer is minimal and can be done from anywhere! Please visit our website for more information. 

Dock Hounds Game: Don't miss out on a second opportunity to see the Dock Hounds and celebrate the end of the school year on Thursday, June 9 at 6:35 p.m.! Invite friends and family along to enjoy an evening of baseball and fun. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to our school. This event is in addition to our Mother Son event on May 24. Please visit their website to purchase tickets. We hope you'll join us!

Parish Golf Outing: The 21st Annual St. Charles Parish Golf Outing will be on Monday, June 6 at Ironwood Golf Course! Register on our website to participate or to be a sponsor. Registration is open! The deadline is Monday, May 30. Proceeds benefit St. Charles Athletic Association. Please email Ashley Lillesand with any questions. 

Mother Son Event: Come make some fun memories with your son at the Dock Hounds game on Tuesday, May 24! He will have an opportunity to line up on the field at the start of the game, creating a tunnel for the players to walk onto the field. Hotdog and soda voucher is included with each ticket. $5 per ticket sold will come back to St. Charles. Please visit their website to purchase your tickets to the event.

Summer Programs: Are you looking for summer programs for your child? Local private high schools are offering summer camps for students in 1st-8th Grade! Please visit websites for CMH, DSHA, and Marquette for more information. 

As the end of the school year approaches, don't forget to plan ahead for next Fall! School supply box orders are due by July 1.
