MATHCOUNTS mathletes are ready for their Chapter Competition today! We wish middle-school students Antonio, Isabella, Jacob, Joe, John Paul, and Therese the best as they compete. We are proud of these mathletes for their accomplishments and achievements in the area of math! 
NEWS & NOTES
COVID Update: We currently do not have any students or staff at home in isolation for testing positive for COVID or in quarantine due to being considered a close contact outside of St. Charles. Please remember to continue monitoring your child's health daily and keep your kids home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well. We are grateful for all of your prayers and support for our students, staff, and school community!

Twin Day: In celebration of =E2=80=98Twos=E2=80=99-day (2/22/22), we will have a school-wide dress down on Tuesday =E2=80=94 Twin Day! Students and staff will coordinate with a friend to dress alike for the day.

Spirit Wear Sale: Our spirit wear sale starts tomorrow! This is a fundraiser, and Mid-City Sports in Hartland will generously donate a portion of each sale back to St. Charles Parish and School. Our new, limited-edition "Under Construction" t-shirt will be for sale, too! Please visit our website for more information and to place your orders. 
AUCTION INFORMATION
Silent Auction - Now On Display Virtually: Visit Givesmart for a preview of the Silent Auction packages featured in our upcoming Hope Grows Here Dinner and Auction. Bidding on Silent Auction packages will open on Monday, February 21, but you can see a sneak peek of the Silent Auction packages today!

Virtual Ticket: Be sure to register for your $0 Virtual Ticket if you are not attending the Auction in person so that you can still bid on (and win!) Silent Auction packages, Fruits of the Holy Spirit paintings, and sign up for Buy-In Parties! 

Fruits & Wine: New item this year! Hand painted by Auction Co-chairs Kristen and Liz, these wooden art pieces each feature a Bible verse about one of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. With each Fruit, you'll receive a mystery bottle of wine, valued at $25 or above. Check out our Fruits under Items #701-709 today on our Auction website
REMINDERS
Volunteer Opportunities: We are in need of help in our lunch room and health room! Please visit the Lunch Room sign-up page and the Health Room sign-up page to check out open opportunities. Parents must be safeguarded and have a current background check (from within the last five years) in order to volunteer. Please contact the School Office if you are unsure of your status. 

Reading Incentive Program: We are partnering with Lake Country Dockhounds to participate in Louie's Literacy Lineup. All students will have an opportunity to earn a free ticket to a Dockhounds home game. Look for information coming home with your child and visit their website to learn more about Lake Country Dockhounds. 

Uniform Upcycle Collection: The St. Charles uniform sale is back! We are enthusiastically accepting donations of gently-used (no holes or tears please) uniform items. Bins are available outside the School Office for you or your child to drop items off throughout the semester. We hope to build up some inventory and have sales before next school year. We hope you'll consider giving these clothes a "second life!" 
COMMUNITY NEWS
Seminarian Basketball Tournament: St. Francis de Sales Seminary invites you to the 2nd annual de Sales Invitational Basketball Tournament this weekend! Games will take place at Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center and Miller Gymnasium. In-person viewing of games will be at Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center (MMOC). Trafficking Presentation: St. Jerome's Human Concerns Commission is sponsoring a free presentation about human trafficking on Wednesday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m. Please see their flyer for more information.

Arrowhead Blood Drive: Arrowhead is hosting a blood drive with the Red Cross on Monday, March 7 from 1-6 p.m. It will be at St. John's United Church of Christ. Please visit their sign-up page for more information and to register!
