NEWS & NOTES
Financial Assistance Available: Financial assistance applications are now open online through FACTS. If you are interested in applying, please log into your FACTS account (district code STCS-WI) and complete the application by Friday, June 26. Contact Principal Garvey with any questions. 

Thank You, Volunteers: Field Day was a huge success! A big thank you to all of the parent volunteers that helped make the day fun, safe, and delicious. Also, thank you so much to our 8th Graders for donating the KONA Ice Truck! Students and staff loved the special treat.
REMINDERS
Read to Our ScholarsOn Wednesday, June 3, we will be hosting a school-wide Read-a-thon to celebrate the end of the year and build excitement for summer reading! We are looking for guest readers and parents to help during this event. Please visit our sign-up page to volunteer. Thank you for sharing a love of stories with our school community!  

Share Your Faith: Shelly Buchan, our Children's Discipleship Lead, is offering an adult catechist training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 (ages 3-6). This training begins on Monday, June 15. We are looking for adults to come learn about CGS so they can join our team that is helping children learn and grow in the faith during the school day and in the afternoons and evenings. For more information, please contact Shelly Buchan.

Become a Buddy Family: Being a Buddy Family is a fun opportunity to earn volunteer hours while helping our incoming St. Charles families feel welcome! You will be matched with a new family in June to help answer any questions they may have before and during the school year. Please email Jody Gottsacker, our Buddy Family Coordinator, with any questions and/or to become a Buddy Family. 

Athletic Registration Open: Athletic registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open online! Students entering 4th-8th Grade in Fall who attend our school or are actively participating in our religious education programs are welcome to register. Our teams are run by parent volunteers who dedicate their time to helping our athletes learn fundamentals. If you would like to be considered as a coach, please register through the Athletics website

School Supply Kits: Our Home & School Association is sponsoring the School Supply Kits fundraiser again for the 2026-2027 school year! Please visit the online store through 1st Day School Supplies to place your order, which will be delivered to St. Charles in late August. The deadline to order is July 1

CMH Rugby Camp: Catholic Memorial High School is hosting a Crusader Girls Rugby Camp for 6th-9th Graders this summer! Camp will be held at CMH Mondays to Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. during the weeks of June 8-11 and June 15-18. For more details and to register, please visit their website

Mathnasium Summer Programs: Mathnasium in Hartland is offering summer programs to help scholars keep their math skills sharp! Mention St. Charles School when registering to save $100. See their flyer for more information. 

Brewers Baseball Clinic: The Milwaukee Brewers are hosting a free baseball clinic for children ages 5-12 on Saturday, June 6 from 9-11 a.m. Come join Brewers alumni, local high-school athletes, and experienced baseball coaches for a fun-filled day of engaging, skill-building activities! Summer Hockey Opportunities: The Mullett Ice Center is offering hockey opportunities for children and families throughout this summer! Check out their flyer for more information. 

Discover Field Hockey: Students ages 7-13 are invited to try field hockey this summer on Saturday, June 13 at 9 a.m. at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee! MKE Field Hockey is hosting this ninety-minute clinic for children interested in learning the basics of the game. For more information and to sign up, please visit their website
