Our Math Club members recently visited our 3K and 5K classrooms to play fun math games with our youngest scholars!
NEWS & NOTES
Spring Break Weekend: There is no school tomorrow, March 6 and on Monday, March 9 for Spring Break weekend. 

Read Across America Week: Our students have been celebrating Read Across America Week this week! To help us spread book joy, please consider donating lightly-used or like-new books to those in need. Gather any books you no longer use and are in good condition =E2=80=94 even one can make a difference! Please drop off books in the Book Drive Box in the Library from March 10-13. These books will be given to PENFIELD Children's Center and other organizations in need of books. Thank you for your generosity and helping promote literacy!


Catholic Memorial's STEM Day: Some of our middle-school students recently attended Catholic Memorial High School's STEM Day and participated in various activities!
REMINDERS
Butter Braid Sale: Don't forget to purchase your Butter Bread pastries and Wooden Spoon cookie dough by Saturday, March 21. All orders must be picked up on Thursday, March 26 from 4:30-6 p.m. Please visit our website for more information and to place an order.

Spring Musical Movie Afternoon: Join the cast of Junie B. Jones, Jr. after school on Friday, March 13 for a magical movie event! Bring your friends, get cozy, and don=E2=80=99t miss this unforgettable afternoon of laughter, songs, snacks, and surprises. Please turn in your sign-up form and payment to the School Office by Tuesday, March 10. No late sign-ups will be accepted.  

Track & Field Registration Open: Registration is open for the upcoming Track and Field season! Practices will begin on Tuesday, March 24 and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at St. Charles or Arrowhead's track. The team is open to students in 4th-8th Grade who attend our school or are registered parishioners. Please check out the flyer for more information and register online. Be sure to save a copy of the schedule, too!

Volunteer Opportunities: Below are our current volunteer opportunities. Please consider giving your time to St. Charles! Don't forget, volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
COMMUNITY NEWS
Mathnasium Events: Mathnasium is hosting two upcoming events that are free and open to the public! No registration is required for their Math Night at Hartland's Public Library on Wednesday, March 11 from 5:30-7 p.m. On Saturday, March 14, they will have their Pi Day Party at Mathnasium in Hartland. Please register online for the event. The school with the greatest attendance will receive a $314 donation from Mathnasium!

Mullett Ice Center Opportunities: The Mullett Ice Center is hosting public skating sessions and Parent & Tot free skating sessions throughout this Spring! Check out their flyer for more information.
