MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Thank you to everyone who attended performances of Alice in Wonderland Jr. over the weekend!
Our scholars did an incredible job of bringing Wonderland to life. They also greeted everyone on their way into school last week to boost excitement leading up to the musical!
NEWS & NOTES
Deadline Extended for the St. Charles Golf OutingThe deadline to register for the 24th Annual Golf Outing is now extended through Sunday, May 25! The outing will be held on Monday, June 2 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex. More details and sponsorship opportunities are available on the Athletics website. Proceeds benefit the St. Charles Athletic Association.

Staff Updates: After over thirty years of teaching, Mrs. Birk will be retiring at the end of the school year. She has been instrumental in helping us revamp our writing program for middle-school students over the past seven years. Also, after twenty years of teaching, Mrs. Jampedro has also decided to retire. Mrs. J has brought so much love and joy to our 5K friends for the past ten years at St. Charles. We are excited for them and will miss them dearly. They are both very much looking forward to traveling and spending more time with their families!

Additionally, our long time teaching assistant, Mrs. Laurie DeAngelis will be stepping away for the next year as she welcomes her first grandchild! She is looking forward to being grandma and helping out for the first year. But great news...she'll be back at St. Charles for the 2026-2027 school year!

We would also like to wish all the best to Sarah Sheehan, Anna Duerwachter, and Kathleen Dietzel as they focus on their families and embark on new chapters!

Employment Opportunities: We are excited to announce two new employment opportunities beginning with the 2025-2026 school year: an ELA Middle School Teacher and Part-Time Band Teacher. If you or someone you know is passionate about education and feels called to share your talents with our faith-filled community, we encourage you to visit the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's website to review the qualifications and begin the application process.

Hawaiian Day: Our Student Council is hosting a Hawaiian Dress Down Day tomorrow!

Read-A-Thon: We are planning a school-wide Read-a-thon on Friday, May 30! We are looking for parent volunteers to help during the storytimes as helpers or guest readers. Storytimes will be in fifteen-minute increments with multiple stories being shared at the same time. If you are interested, please visit our sign-up page and select the time you are available. Please also include the title of the book you want to share so we can screen for duplicate titles. This is a great way to provide fun reading opportunities the entire day and get scholars excited to read throughout the summer!
