Students celebrated Holy Thursday with a day of retreat and prayer!
In the morning, classes reflected on the events of the Triduum and Easter season with various prayer activities. Then the whole school gathered in Spirit Groups in the Gym to participate in a Student Council-led prayer service and Stations of the Cross activity. The day ended with silent dismissal as we entered into the holy days of the Triduum. 

Prayers for Pope Francis: As we and fellow Catholics around the world mourn Pope Francis, Fr. Ariel is leading our school in daily prayers throughout the nine-day mourning period. Please join us in praying the Hail Mary, Our Father, and Glory Be throughout your day for the next week. 
 

Spring Concert: We are looking forward to our Spring Concert on Thursday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m.! Doors will open at 6 p.m. As a reminder, Reconciliation is being held that evening from 5-6 p.m. Please wait outside (weather permitting) or in the church corridor until 6 p.m. out of respect to those attending Reconciliation. Our students are excited to share the music they've been learning with you!

Join Us at the Golf Outing: Registration is open for the 24th Annual Golf Outing! The event will be held on Monday, June 2 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex. More details and sponsorship opportunities are available on the Athletics website. Proceeds benefit the St. Charles Athletic Association. The deadline to register is Friday, May 23. 

Mother-Son Bowling: The Home & School Association is excited to host a Mother-Son Bowling afternoon on Sunday, May 18 at Sussex Bowl! Registration with payment is due to the School Office by tomorrow, April 25. Please see the registration flyer for more information. 

VIP Day: We are excited to welcome our VIPs to St. Charles on Friday, May 2! Donuts and beverages will be available for students and their VIPs following Mass. Students and guests must register by Monday, April 28 on our sign-up form. Please note that each student should sign up separately. Interested in helping at the event? Visit our volunteer page!

Bus Service on VIP Day: Due to many students departing VIP Day with family members, there will be no bus service the afternoon of Friday, May 2. If your child regularly takes the bus home from school, please plan accordingly.

School Supply Kits: Our Home & School Association is sponsoring our School Supply Kits fundraiser again for the 2025-2026 school year! Please visit the online store through 1st Day School Supplies to place your order, which will be delivered to St. Charles in late August. The deadline to order is July 1. 

Report Your Hours: Have you volunteered at St. Charles throughout this year? Please submit your hours through the Service Hour Google form.
