NEWS & NOTES
Mother-Son Bowling: The Home & School Association is excited to host a Mother-Son Bowling afternoon on Sunday, May 18 at Sussex Bowl! Registration with payment is due to the School Office by Friday, April 25. Please see the registration flyer for more information.
School Supply Kits: Our Home & School Association is sponsoring the School Supply Kits fundraiser again for the 2025-2026 school year! Please visit the online store through 1st Day School Supplies to place your order, which will be delivered to St. Charles in late August. The deadline to order is July 1.
Students Learning Sign Language: Our students had an incredible opportunity to learn about American Sign Language and the deaf culture and community from two guest presenters last week! Ms. Nicole, one of our presenters, is an ASL interpreter, and Ms. Chandler, our other presenter, is deaf. Ms. Nicole and Ms. Chandler did an amazing job teaching our students about being deaf and answered many questions from eager scholars. It was a wonderful experience for everyone! Each grade level presentation concluded with students learning the ASL that they will perform during the finale of the Spring Concert. Our scholars are excited to "Be a Light=E2=80=9D in another language!

Serving Our Community: Our Student Council stopped by our new St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in our northeast lot to deliver food they collected at the Middle School Dance last Friday!

REMINDERS
Musical Movie Day: The cast and crew of Alice in Wonderland, Jr. are hosting Movie Day on Friday, April 25 from 3:30-5:45 p.m. in the Gym! All students are welcome to attend. Please return the permission form with payment to the School Office by Tuesday, April 22.
VIP Day: We are excited to welcome our VIPs to St. Charles on Friday, May 2! Donuts and beverages will be available for students and their VIPs following Mass. Students and guests must register by Monday, April 28 on our sign-up form. Please note that each student should sign up separately. Interested in helping at the event or donating water and/or juice boxes? Visit our volunteer page!
Bus Service on VIP Day: Due to many students departing VIP Day with family members, there will be no bus service the afternoon of Friday, May 2. If your child regularly takes the bus home from school, please plan accordingly.
Golf Outing: Save the date! The 24th Annual St. Charles Parish Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 2 at Ironwood! More details and sponsorship opportunities to follow. Proceeds benefit the St. Charles Athletic Association. This is a great volunteer opportunity! For information or to volunteer, please email Ashley Leonhard.
