Dear Parents, 

It was brought to our attention that you may have received an email from PowerSchool (our student information system for attendance and report cards) stating that they recently experienced a data breach. PowerSchool notified us that our organization was not affected, stating, "While this incident affected certain PowerSchool Student Information System customers, our thorough forensic investigation has confirmed that your organization's data was not impacted." However, according to the email that you may have received from PowerSchool, they are offering identity protection services to all families who have accounts. If you are interested, please engage with the email you received.

Additionally, below is the message schools received from John Soper, Associate Superintendent of the Archdiocese: "Recently, PowerSchool informed us of a nationwide data breach that occurred to their systems. They were working on rectifying that situation. Sunday, the PowerSchool organization sent out an email from Experian regarding their offer to provide identity protection services.

This is a legitimate e-mail, and your families should engage with the email if they are interested in the services being offered. We have no control or responsibility over what they are offering. Nor do we have answers to any questions related to this service. All questions will need to be directed to whomever the email indicates."

NEWS & NOTES
Girl Scout Cookie Sale: Our 3rd Grade Troop will be selling Girl Scout cookies after school today in our Safe Parking area! Cookies are $6 per box (or $7 for gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies). Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Proceeds help fund troop activities, field trips, and work toward earning badges and awards. Thank you for supporting our Girl Scouts!

Spirit Wear Day: Students are welcome to wear spirit wear tops with uniform bottoms tomorrow, March 7!

Pizza Lunch: Our next pizza lunch fundraiser will be on Wednesday, March 19! Our 7th Graders will be sponsoring this lunch. Please print and submit the order form to the School Office by Friday, March 14. No hot lunch will be served that day. Sorry, no late orders will be accepted. 

Butter Braid Sale: We are excited to announce that our Butter Braid Sale is back just in time for your Easter celebrations! Purchase your Butter Braids and Wooden Spoon Cookie Dough from March 10-31. Pastry and cookie dough pick up will be on Tuesday, April 8 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the West/Gym entrance. Orders must be picked up that day; we are unable to freeze unclaimed items. More information will be in Sunday's Week Ahead email!

Reading Buddies: Our 4th Graders read to their 4K buddies in honor of Dr. Seuss Week on Tuesday!
120 Days of School: Our 2nd Graders loved celebrating the 120th day of school earlier this week! Scholars were "aglow" as they participated in different activities!
REMINDERS
Padre Pep Rally: We will be cheering on our 8th Grade boys' basketball team tomorrow, March 7 at 2:30 p.m. as they prepare to go to the Padre Serra Tournament! 

Second Trimester Ending: Our second trimester is ending tomorrow, March 7. Keep an eye out for report cards coming home on March 19!

Tech Crew Opportunity: All 5th-8th Grade students are invited to be a part of our Alice in Wonderland Jr. tech crew! This is a wonderful opportunity for scholars to help with building sets and working backstage. Please visit our website for more information and to sign up.

2025 Men of Christ Conference: There is still time to register for the Men of Christ Conference on Saturday, March 29 at the Shattuck Music Center at Carroll University! Visit their website for more information and to sign up. 

Virtue Baseball: Don't forget to register boys (5K-12th Grade) and girls (5K-2nd Grade) for Virtue Baseball by March 31! No previous playing experience is required. To learn more and/or register, please visit their website. 

Assisted Listening Instructions: Our Worship Team has updated the "Assisted Listening Instructions" guide to reflect the new version of the WebCAST app for 2025. Please visit our website for more information.
