MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.
Our 7th and 8th Graders went on a living history field trip earlier this week!
They helped the Union Army obtain an important message about Confederate troop movements. It was an interactive experience that let students learn more about the Civil War!
NEWS & NOTES
No School: There is no school tomorrow, October 4 due to Teacher In-service.

New 5K and 1st Grade Daisy Troop: We are happy to announce the start of a combined 5K and 1st Grade Daisy Troop here at St. Charles. Daisy Troop #38024 is now open for registration for those that are interested. Please go to the Girl Scouts website to create an account (if you don't have one already) and register your daughter. We will need a co-leader and adult volunteers for each meeting. Please contact Kimberly Halvorson if you are able to help.  

Shamrock Classic: Congratulations to our 6th Grade boys volleyball black team on winning the St. John Vianney 6th Grade Boys Shamrock Classic!
Seton Tournament: Congratulations to our 8th Grade boys volleyball team on being invited to the Seton Volleyball Tournament! 
Congratulations, Brooklyn: Congratulations to 8th Grader Brooklyn on winning the Triple Crown of Pleasure Equitation in the 13 and under division at the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show!
REMINDERS
Reconciliation for School Parents: We are offering Reconciliation for school parents again this year! Please join us on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 10-11 a.m. Our first Reconciliation opportunity is today, October 3 in the Church. 

Homework Club: Homework Club will begin Monday, October 7 and will meet Mondays from 3:25-4 p.m. in rooms 214-215 through April 28, 2025. Students in 6th-8th Grade will be helping younger children (1st-5th Grade) work on homework, practice math facts, play an educational game, or listen to them read. Homework will be fun! Please complete the sign-up form for students in 1st-5th Grade and/or the tutor sign-up form for students in 6th-8th Grade. 

Safe Environment Training: We will be hosting a Safe Environment Training session here at St. Charles on Wednesday, October 9. You are also welcome to complete training at a different parish. Please visit the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's website for more information and to sign up.

Volunteer Opportunities: Below are our current volunteer opportunities. Please consider giving your time to St. Charles! Don't forget, volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!

Youth Wrestling Opportunity: Ocon Youth Wrestling Club is offering wrestling for students in 5K-8th Grade! Check out their flier for more information and to sign up.
