Staff Updates: We are excited to announce a few new hires and an additional 3rd Grade classroom for the 2024-2025 school year!
School Supply Boxes: As we near the end of the school year, don't forget to order supplies for the Fall! Please visit 1st Day School Supplies' website to place your order by June 31.
Kid City: Our 3rd Grade scholars loved participating in Kid City last week! Students worked together to create businesses and helped younger students who stopped by to visit their city.

Piano State Federation: Congratulations to 5th Grader Jon for winning his division at the State Level of Wisconsin Federation Festivals! Calleigh Mills, a past graduate of St. Charles and current scholar at Catholic Memorial High School, won her division, too. Kathleen Latzke-Daley, piano/voice teacher, congratulates these students and all the students that qualified to compete at the State Level. This is quite an honor!

2024 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage: For the first time in history, the Blessed Sacrament will travel in a procession across the entire United States. The pilgrims will move through the Milwaukee area on June 18-26 and will make a stop at St. Charles on Thursday, June 20. Once here, pilgrims will celebrate a Holy Hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and then host an Encounter Night from 7-8 p.m., which includes Adoration and Reconciliation. This will be followed by a brief social before pilgrims travel to their next stop, which is the Schoenstatt Retreat Center in Waukesha. Open HSA Positions: We have an open position for our Home & School Association next year! If you are interested in being President Elect in the Fall (and President for the 2025-2026 school year), please contact Sarah Trapp, HSA President.
Milk Billing: Milk bills are due by tomorrow, May 31. Milk sales through the end of the school year will be cash or check only.
Be a Buddy: We are in need of additional Buddy Families for our new Crusaders! When you volunteer to be a Buddy Family, you are matched with a new family to help them feel welcomed into our community. This includes a welcome email, answering any questions about St. Charles to the best of your ability, optional meet-ups before the school year begins, and our annual Popsicles in the Park event in August. Please contact our Buddy Family Coordinator via email if you are interested in this fun role!

Arise Family Day: Families are invited to Arise Milwaukee's annual Family Day on Saturday, July 13 from 2-5:30 p.m., followed by an optional picnic dinner and outdoor Worship Night! The day will include live music, activities for children, and a chance to meet members of the religious community in our area. For more information and to register, please visit their website.
Test Drive a Bus: Test drive Dousman Transportation's buses this summer! This is a great opportunity to find out what it's like to drive a school bus and see if it's something you would like to do throughout the school year. Stop by on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June through August and bring your regular license. Contact Lisa at Dousman Transportation at 262-966-9690 for more information.
Support Our Troops: The American Legion Post in Hartland is creating care packages for deployed troops! If you are interested in donating items such as beef jerky or sticks, protein bars, hydration drink mixes, microwaveable meals, nuts, gum, mints, Chapstick, puzzle books or journals, please drop them off in the School Office by Thursday, June 6. The American Legion Post will also be accepting donations on Sunday, June 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
