Our students and staff had a wonderful time celebrating Catholic Schools Week last week!
Students participated in activities such as Zoom Bingo with Principal Garvey, a field hockey tournament, a movie afternoon for our youngest scholars, and a trip to Sussex Bowl for our middle-school students! The week concluded with a beautiful all-school Mass at St. Joseph's Chapel in Milwaukee. We are so blessed to have such an incredible faith-filled community here at St. Charles!

Dress Down Day: Students and staff are welcome to wear red, pink, and white in honor of Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 13!

Sweet Dreams Dining Out: We are excited to announce that our Home & School Association is partnering with Sweet Dreams in Hartland for monthly dining out opportunities! Please stop by anytime between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, February 19 and let staff know you are there for St. Charles' Dining Out. We will receive at least 10% of sales that day!

Join Our Stage Crew: Do you have a middle-school student who loves theater but not performing onstage? Do they love creating things or painting? Have they always wanted to be a part of a musical but want to stay behind the scenes? Here's their chance =E2=80=94 have them bring the Jungle of Nool to life in Seussical with us! We are looking for middle schoolers who are interested in working on Stage Crew to help make our spring musical amazing. Please fill out the registration form and return it with payment to the School Office by Friday, February 23. More details will follow upon registration. Show dates are May 18 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. as well as May 19 at 3 p.m. 

Support Our Gala: Please consider donating an auction item to help raise funds for our parish and school! Consider sporting tickets, signed memorabilia, shows, entertainment, outdoor activities, really awesome tools, golf or sports equipment or outings, and religious keepsakes. Please visit our Gala website for the donation form. Tickets for the Gala will go on sale on Monday, February 19. Gather your friends to fill a table and get ready to show off your glamorous side!

MATHCOUNTS UPDATE
The MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition took place at UW-Milwaukee on Saturday, and  seven of our middle-school students competed. Congratulations to 6th Graders Erika and Harrison, 7th Graders Caden, Donovan, Matteo, and Sam and 8th Grader Ben. They did a wonderful job, and we are so proud of these mathletes as well as their leader Mrs. Mullen! Sam will advance to the State Competition on Saturday, March 2 at the Acuity Insurance Center in Sheboygan. We wish Sam well as he prepares for his next level of competition!

Below are current volunteer opportunities. We especially need help with supervising our Lunch Room. Please consider giving your time to St. Charles!

CMH Jr. Crusaders Volleyball: Girls currently in 4th-7th Grade are invited to participate in Catholic Memorial's Jr. Crusader volleyball program! Registration is now open. There will be a player evaluation on Wednesday, April 17 for those interested in participating. Please visit their website for more information and to sign up. 

Bus Driver Appreciation: Bus Driver Appreciation Week is February 12-16! Bus drivers often need to work through difficult driving conditions while continuing to focus on safety. Please reflect on this opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for the drivers who work to protect our students!
