MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.
We wish these seven middle-school mathletes well as they compete in the MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition on Saturday, February 3 at UW-Milwaukee!
Our middle-school students Ben, Sam, Matteo, Harrison, Donovan, Erika, and Caden participate in the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series Club, which meets after school on Thursdays under Mrs. Mullen's leadership. Good luck, scholars!
NEWS & NOTES
Dress Down Day: Students and staff are welcome to dress down for Sports Day today as we continue celebrating Catholic Schools Week!

Pizza Lunch: Our next pizza lunch fundraiser is on Wednesday, February 7! It is sponsored by our 7th Grade class. Please print and submit the order form to the School Office by tomorrow, February 2. Sorry, no late orders will be accepted.

8th Grade Formal/Activities Photos: Our 8th Grade Formals and Clubs/Activities Picture Day will be on Monday, February 5!

Sweet Dreams Dining Out: We are excited to announce that our Home & School Association is partnering with Sweet Dreams in Hartland for monthly dining out opportunities! Please stop by anytime between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, February 19 and let staff know you are there for St. Charles' Dining Out. We will receive at least 10% of sales that day!
REMINDERS
Support Our Gala: Show your support for our upcoming Gala by becoming a sponsor or volunteering your time and talents! Please visit the Gala website for more information about both opportunities. We are so grateful for your help in making this year's event a success!

Soup-er Bowl: Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Soup-er Bowl so far! Students are invited to bring in Progresso soup, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, canned ham or chicken, canned fruit, and cereal for children that will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Students can place items in the bucket of the team that they believe will win the Super Bowl.

Seminarian Goody Bags: We will be creating small care packages for Seminarians in the Archdiocese and are asking grade levels to donate a specific item and bring them in by tomorrow, February 2. Below are the items we are in need of:
  • 3K, 4K, and 5K - Chapstick
  • 1st & 2nd Grade - travel-size hand lotion or hand sanitizer
  • 3rd & 4th Grade - box of granola bar-type snacks (5 or 6 pack)
  • 5th Grade - fun-size bag of candy bars
  • 6th & 7th Grade - packs of mints
  • 8th Grade - packs of gum
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Below are current volunteer opportunities. We especially need help with supervising our Lunch Room. Please consider giving your time to St. Charles!
Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
COMMUNITY NEWS
"Matilda" at CMH: Tickets are on sale for "Matilda" at Catholic Memorial High School! 4th Grader Florence and 7th Grader Ava are both performing as part of the Kids Cast. Performances are February 23-25 and March 1-3. Please visit their website to purchase tickets.

Jr. Crusader Football: Catholic Memorial Jr. Crusader football registration is now open for boys currently enrolled in 3rd-7th Grade! Visit their website for more information and to sign up. 

Bus Driver Appreciation: Bus Driver Appreciation Week is February 12-16! Bus drivers often need to work through difficult driving conditions while continuing to focus on safety. Please reflect on this opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for the drivers who work to protect our students!
