Everyone had a wonderful time in Barbieland at our Father-Daughter Dance on Saturday!
We loved seeing dads and daughters dress up in theme. We would like to thank Kristen Jessup and Sarah Trapp for planning the event as well as Ivy Bauer, Nelda D'Amour, Jana Fagan, Jenna Zalud, Beth Speth, and Nancy Sonn for all of their help setting up and during the dance!

NEWS & NOTES
Catholic Schools Week: Catholic Schools Week is next week from January 29 through February 2! Please visit our website to find out what is going on at St. Charles throughout the week. Classroom teachers will also share more details in their weekly newsletters.
Soup-er Bowl: We are bringing back the Soup-er Bowl this year! Students are invited to bring in Progresso soup, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, canned ham or chicken, canned fruit, and cereal for children that will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Students will place items in the bucket of the team that they believe will win the Super Bowl.
Seminarian Goody Bags: We will be creating small care packages for Seminarians in the Archdiocese during Catholic Schools Week and are asking grade levels to donate a specific item and bring them in by Friday, February 2. Below are the items we are in need of:
- 3K, 4K, and 5K - Chapstick
- 1st & 2nd Grade - travel-size hand lotion or hand sanitizer
- 3rd & 4th Grade - box of granola bar-type snacks (5 or 6 pack)
- 5th Grade - fun-size bag of candy bars
- 6th & 7th Grade - packs of mints
- 8th Grade - packs of gum

REMINDERS
2nd Semester Dress Down Passes: Dress down passes for the second semester are for sale through the Home & School Association, payable by either check or cash. Please fill out the order form and return along with payment to the School Office by tomorrow, January 26. Passes will be sent home the week of January 29 with the oldest student. Please note that no change will be given; please send in the exact amount owed. Dress down passes will not be issued until payment is received.
Seussical Jr. Auditions: Students in 3rd-8th Grade are welcome to audition for Seussical Jr. on Monday, January 29 or Tuesday, January 30 from 3:30-5 p.m. Please visit our website for more information and to sign up for auditions.
New Adoration Hours: Join us for our new Eucharistic Adoration hours! We now have Adoration in our Chapel from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Mondays-Fridays. Adorers may enter and exit through the parish's main entrance. Please visit our website for more information.
Virtue Baseball Registration: Join Virtue Baseball this summer! Registration is open for T-ball (5K), coach-pitch (1st-2nd Grade), and player-pitch (3rd-12th Grade). To sign up or for more information, please visit their website. Registration closes on March 17.

Bus Driver Appreciation: Bus Driver Appreciation Week is February 12-16! Bus drivers often need to work through difficult driving conditions while continuing to focus on safety. Please reflect on this opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for the drivers who work to protect our students!
