Students in 6th Grade enjoyed their field trip to see "The Nutcracker" last week!
They had the opportunity to watch their classmate Louise perform while they were there. What a fun experience!
NEWS & NOTES
Advent Concerts: We are looking forward to seeing you at our Advent Concerts today! Students have spent a lot of time practicing and can't wait to perform. The 3K-5K concert will begin at 8:45 a.m. Families can park in the Safe Parking area and enter through the west doors to find seats in the Gym. Students in 1st-8th Grade will have their concert this evening at 6 p.m. Students should report to their homerooms at 5:30 p.m. 

Re-enrollment
: Re-enrollment will open early next week! Keep an eye on your Inbox (and Spam Folder) for an email from FACTS (email@renweb.com) with re-enrollment instructions. Please complete your family's re-enrollment packet by Monday, January 15. New families will be able to start the enrollment process on Tuesday, January 16

String Orchestra: Registration for the second semester of our String Orchestra is now open! New enrollers and beginners are welcome to join us starting in January. Please check out our overview of information and submit the enrollment form by Friday, January 5 if you are interested. 

Safe Parking Reminders: If your family uses our Safe Parking area, please read the reminders below. We appreciate your help with keeping students, staff, and your fellow parents safe!
  • Be mindful of your speed when driving into and out of the parking lot. 
  • Please refrain from parking around the center island (near the new church's entrance).
  • Do not leave your child(ren) unattended in the parking lot.
  • Please park in designated spaces. Do not pull up to the school's main entrance during pick-up and drop-off times.
Please join us in wishing our MATHCOUNTS students good luck as they prepare for their School Competition on January 4! 
Our middle-school students Ben, Sam, Matteo, Harrison, Donovan, Erika, and Caden participate in the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series Club, which meets after school on Thursdays. We are proud of these students for all of their accomplishments and achievements in math!
REMINDERS
Dress Down Days: We will have a few dress down days leading up to Christmas Break starting tomorrow!
  • Friday, December 15: Silent Night (Pajama Day)
  • Monday, December 18: Red/Green Day
  • Tuesday, December 19: Christmas Sweater Day
  • Wednesday, December 20: Christmas Hat & Socks Day
  • Thursday, December 21: Dress Up (All-School Mass)
Advent Spirit Group Project: We will be creating Christmas ornaments this year for our Advent Spirit Group Project and donating them to Operation Christmas Ornaments, an organization that supplies Christmas ornaments and decorations to those who have lost their homes in a disaster (fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc.). Students will come together with their Spirit Groups to make ornaments. They will be made from simple materials, and we are in need of donations of supplies by tomorrow, December 15
 
Advent Service Project: Our school-wide Advent service project will be collecting and donating items to Lake Country Caring, a local organization that provides basic items to those in need for free. Please see the list below for needed items. If you are willing to make a donation, items can be brought to your child's homeroom by tomorrow, December 15. Thank you in advance for your compassion and generosity!
  • 3K-5K: New girls socks (all sizes) and lotion
  • 1st-3rd Grade: Ladies socks and large bath towels
  • 4th-5th Grade: Cleaning products and large bath towels
  • 6th-8th Grade: Diapers (sizes 2 & 3) and deodorant
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
COMMUNITY NEWS
Mullett Ice Center Events: The Mullett Ice Center is hosting their Skate with Santa event on Saturday, December 16 from 1:30-3 p.m.! For information about their other upcoming events, please check out their flier
