Advent Silent Entrance/Exit: We prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ with joyful anticipation throughout Advent. To mark this season of waiting, we will bookend the week with silent entrance on Mondays and silent dismissal on Fridays. As students enter school on
Monday mornings during Advent, the dimmed lights will remind students to remain silent as they prepare themselves for the day. On
Fridays, students will leave their classrooms in silence. We ask students to maintain this silence until they are in the car or on the bus. Thank you for supporting students in these times of silence to pause, wait, and prepare our hearts for the birth of the Lord. The first silent entrance will be on

Advent Spirit Group Project: We will be creating Christmas ornaments this year for our Advent Spirit Group Project and donating them to Operation Christmas Ornaments, an organization that supplies Christmas ornaments and decorations to those who have lost their homes in a disaster (fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc.). Students will come together with their Spirit Groups to make ornaments. They will be made from simple materials, and we will be looking for donations of some supplies. Please keep an eye out for additional information in Sunday's Week Ahead email.
