Congratulations to our Math Club on achieving Silver Level Status in the National Math Club!

They will now begin preparing for their Gold Level Project, a math-based service project. We are proud of these scholars for their accomplishments and achievements in Math. The club is comprised of middle-school students and is led by Mrs. Mullen.

NEWS & NOTES

Seton Tournament: Congratulations to our 8th Grade Girls' Gold Team for taking 2nd Place at the Seton Tournament last weekend! We are proud of both of our 8th Grade girls' volleyball teams and have loved watching them play throughout their years at St. Charles.

Parent/Teacher Conferences: It was wonderful to see so many of our parents yesterday at Parent/Teacher Conferences! Conferences continue today from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Please park in the West lot and enter through the Gym doors or the main school entrance. Don't forget to stop by the Book Fair, too!

SCRIP Holiday Gift Guide: SCRIP's 2023 Holiday Gift Guide is now available! Visit the guide for gift-giving inspiration and to find out what gift cards are available this year. Raise Right is also hosting their Raise Days from November 16-17, which provides St. Charles with even more bonus rebates. Please visit their website for more information. Purchasing SCRIP is an easy way to kick off Christmas shopping while supporting our parish and school!

REMINDERS

School Entrance Reminder: If you are volunteering, dropping off/picking up your child, or for any type of visit to the school during school hours, please remember to enter through the school's main entrance doors. Use the intercom system to identify yourself and the reason for your visit, and our office staff will be happy to assist you. The parish entrance and Borromeo Room doors are not to be used as a school entrance.

Strings/Band Concert: Our first ever Band and Strings Advent Concert will be on Monday, December 18 at 6 p.m. in the Church. Please join us for an evening of joyous music!

Ski and Snowboard Club: Save the dates for our Ski and Snowboard Club on January 12, January 26, February 9, and February 23. This is a great opportunity to ski and snowboard this winter, and first-time beginners are encouraged to join. Please visit our website for more information.

Advent Concerts: We will have two Advent Concerts on Thursday, December 14!

3K-5K will have their concert that morning at around 8:45 a.m. Families can park in the Safe Parking area and enter through the west doors to find seats in the Gym.
1st-8th Grade will have their concert in the evening at 6 p.m. Students need to report to their homerooms at 5:30 p.m.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
