New Staff Updates:

Please welcome our new staff members!

3K Teaching Assistant:  Jessica Knight has joined Mrs. Hofbauer in 3K as our full-time teaching assistant! Mrs. Knight has two boys currently attending St. Charles and attended St. Charles herself.

5th Grade Teaching Assistant:  Amber Halverson is now a member of the St. Charles' family and is working as our 5th grade teaching assistant! She will go by Ms. Amber to help lessen the confusion with a teacher who shares the same last name.

Administrative Assistant:  You may have recently noticed a new voice when calling the office. Nina Wolf is now part of our School Office team as an Administrative Assistant! Mrs. Wolf has three children currently attending St. Charles and a recent graduate who now attends Arrowhead.

NEWS & NOTES

Volleyball Photos: Volleyball photos will be taken on Wednesday, September 27! Teams will be given an assigned time. All orders must be placed by 5 p.m. the day before picture day. Only pre-ordered students will have an individual picture taken. Please visit Scholastic's website to order.

Basketball Registration: Basketball registration is currently open for the upcoming season! Please visit our website to register.

FROM THE HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION

Fall Dress Down Pass Sale: The HSA is offering the purchase of dress down passes for the first semester, payable by either check or cash. Please fill out the order form and return along with payment to the School Office by tomorrow, September 22. Please note that no change will be given; please send in the exact amount owed.

Trivia Night: Trivia Night is back this year! The HSA is looking for volunteers for our bi-annual battle of the brains. This is a fun, collaborative event planned for Saturday, November 18, and we could use your help. Please email Jody Gottsacker if you are interested in volunteering.

REMINDERS

Immunization Forms Required: Per the State of Wisconsin's Department of Health Services, we need to have Immunization Record Forms on file for every student. Please note that these forms need to be submitted annually. If you haven't submitted your child's form yet, please do as soon as possible. Contact the School Office with any questions.

Homework Club: We're excited to announce our Homework Club is returning this year! Is your child interested in being a peer mentor/tutor? Do you have a younger student who might need homework help? Please visit our mentor/tutor sign-up sheet for more information for students in 6th-8th Grade and our homework club sign-up sheet for students in 1st-5th Grade.

Birthday Book Club: Celebrate your child's birthday by donating a new, pre-selected book to our school library! Visit the Birthday Book Club flier for more information and to sign up.

School Directory: The final version of the 2023-2024 school directory is now available! Please save this document for future reference. It will not be available on our website due to Safe Environment protocols.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
