NEWS & NOTES
Temporary Drop-off/Pick-Up Procedures: Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to implement our temporary drop-off and pick-up procedures! In the event someone else is picking up or dropping off your child, please share the procedures and map with them.

Website Update: The front page of our website is in the process of being updated! Please visit our Parent Resources page for more information in the meantime and/or contact the School Office with any questions. 

Hot Lunch: If you would like your child to participate in the hot lunch program, you will need to register for an account with Kettle Moraine. Please visit their website and select Parochial Schools for more information. 

School Directory: The second draft of the 2023-2024 school directory is now available! Please review your family's information and let Ms. Caswell know of any changes by Tuesday, September 12. Please be sure to correct your family's contact information in FACTS, as well. 

Server Training: Training for both new and experienced servers is starting soon! All St. Charles students who will be in 4th Grade or older are invited to participate in this ministry. Please visit our website for more information and to sign up for training.

Fall Fest Photos: Are you and your family attending Fall Fest this year? Please share your photos with us! We will be featuring pictures in an upcoming bulletin and on our website and would love to include our school families. Please send photos to Ms. Caswell. 
FROM THE HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
Fall Dress Down Pass Sale: The HSA is offering the purchase of dress down passes for the first semester, payable by either check or cash. Please fill out the order form and return along with payment to the School Office by Friday, September 22. Passes will be sent home the week of October 2 with the oldest student. Please note that no change will be given; please send in the exact amount owed. Dress down passes will not be issued until payment is received. 

Kwik Trip Bonus: There is a Kwik Trip SCRIP bonus for the month of September with 9% for gas and 15% for food! 

SCRIP Reload Bonus: Meijer will have an upcoming SCRIP reload bonus during the Raise Days bonus event from September 21-22! Purchase reloadable Meijer cards now to reload during the bonus days. 

Trivia Night: Trivia Night is back this year! The HSA is looking for volunteers for our bi-annual battle of the brains. This is a fun, collaborative event planned for Saturday, November 18, and we could use your help. Please email Jody Gottsacker if you are interested in volunteering.
REMINDERS
Pizza Lunch: Our first pizza lunch fundraiser is on Wednesday, September 13! It is sponsored by our 8th Grade class. Please print and submit the order form to the School Office today if you haven't already. Sorry, no late orders will be accepted. 

Strings Program: Our new Strings Program is open to all students in 3rd-8th Grade who are interested in learning how to play the violin, viola, or cello. Program information can be found on this flier. Please submit the registration form to Mrs. Revers or the School Office by tomorrow, September 8. Instrument rentals should be completed by September 8 through White House of Music's website. Instruments will be delivered to the school on Monday, September 11. Middle-School Math Club: Our middle-school Math Club is returning this year on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. starting on October 4! Please check out the flier for more information and email Mrs. Mullen with any questions.

Women of Christ Conference: Women are invited to attend this year's Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, November 18 at the Brookfield Conference Center! Doors open at 7 a.m. For more information about speakers and to register, please visit their website.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
COMMUNITY NEWS
Lake Country Dance: Lake Country Dance is offering a Fall Mini Season for dancers ages 18 months-5 years! Classes begin on September 11 and conclude in mid-November. Please visit their website for more information.
