Students, parents, and staff ... Congratulations on the start to the 2018-2019 School Year! There is a ton of positive energy flowing throughout the building and the smiling faces and laughter are extremely contagious.
We started the first day with an All School Assembly to get everyone pumped up for the school year. The students did a great job and some of them even won prizes! Thank you to the teachers and staff for their help and flexibility in making this event a huge success.

Just a reminder that students must wear their uniform (no Dress Down passes allowed on Friday) and no shorts -- long pants or skirts and jumpers, please.

Parent Info Nights - Next week we will have our Parent Info Nights on Wednesday, Sept. 5 (3K-5th grade) and Thursday. Sept. 6 (6th-8th grade). We will discuss some general information and provide a few school updates. In addition, you will break out into your child=E2=80=99s classroom for additional information from the teachers. We will hold two sessions (approx. 20 minutes each) with teachers so that you can visit other grade level teachers. If you have more than two children in different grade levels, we encourage you to reach out to teachers that you were unable to meet with.

Soles Walk Registration - It is that time of year to register for the annual Archdiocese of Milwaukee Soles Walk for Catholic Education! I have been participating in this walk from the beginning (in 2013) and I look forward to it every year. It is absolutely amazing to see and be a part of an event with so many individuals that are dedicated to Catholic education. Please sign up, make a donation, and join me in this event that brings us all together to not only benefit St. Charles, but all of what Catholic education is all about. All donations stay right here at St. Charles!
Finally, please take a look at your contact information in TADS and make any necessary updates. We need to make sure we have accurate records in case of an emergency and we are compiling all the information for the family directory. Thank you for helping us to ensure the safety and well being of all our students.
Following His plan,
Mr. Garvey
