MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

NEWS & NOTES
Jerseys for Jackson: In honor of Jackson Sparks, the 8-year-old boy who was killed while walking in the Waukesha Christmas Parade last year, the community is again coming together to remember him by asking everyone to wear your favorite jersey/sports team attire on December 3 and 4. Since that is over the weekend, students and staff are invited to wear their favorite sports jerseys/shirts tomorrow, December 2

Advent Concert: Our Advent Concerts will be on Thursday, December 15
  • The 3K-5K Concert will begin shortly after school drop-off at 8:45 a.m. Parents and families of 3K-5K students can park in the West lot during drop-off and go to the Gym to find seats. 3K-5K students will report to their classrooms as usual and will come down to the Gym as a class when they are ready.
  • Students in 1st-8th Grade will report to their homerooms at 5:30 p.m. to check in, and the concert will begin at 6 p.m. Students will be seated in the bleachers by class throughout the duration of the concert. We ask all families to stay and enjoy the entire performance out of respect to all of our students and families.
Lunch Recess Supervisor: We are in need of an additional Lunch Recess Supervisor! This is a paid, part-time position on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact the School Office for more information.

Pizza Lunch: Our next pizza lunch fundraiser is on Wednesday, December 14! It is sponsored by our 8th Grade class. Print and submit the order form to the School Office by Friday, December 9. Sorry, we are unable to accept late orders. Hot lunch will not be served that day. Please have your child bring a cold lunch if they do not order pizza.

Advent Service Project: Our Advent Service Project will benefit St. Charles' Elizabeth Ministry this year! This ministry cherishes children, encourages families, uplifts the sanctity of marriages, and builds community. Donations will be used to help create celebration baskets and comfort bags to parents and families expressing the support of the faith community at St. Charles. Consider shopping together as a family and/or having your child purchase an item on their own. Please have your child bring items to their classroom by Friday, December 16. For more information about our Elizabeth Ministry and what items are needed, please check out their flier
REMINDERS
Advent Silent Entrance/Exit: With joyful anticipation, we prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ throughout the season of Advent. To mark this season of waiting, we will bookend the week with silent entrance on Mondays and silent dismissal on Fridays. Thank you for supporting students in these times of silence to pause, wait, and prepare our hearts for the birth of the Lord. The first silent exit will be tomorrow, December 2!

Mom's Favorite Things: Please join us for the annual Mom's Favorite Things Gift Exchange hosted by the Home & School Association on Thursday, December 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the STEM Room. We will exchange our favorite things and socialize before the holiday bustle begins! Please visit our sign-up page to register.
