Congratulations to our 6th Grade girls volleyball team, who placed 3rd in the St. Mary's Hales Corners tournament over the weekend!
NEWS & NOTES
Dress Down DayToday is a Dress Down Day per Will and Payton, our Principals for the Day last week!

Trunk or Treat: Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Trunk or Treat event! We had over 220 children attend and ninety-five cars fill our parking lot. A special thank you to Kristen Jessup, Angela Waterman, and all of our parent volunteers who made the night so much fun!

Book Fair: Our annual book fair starts today! This year's theme is Passport to Adventure. Please visit our website for more information. Interested in volunteering to make the Fair a success? Visit our sign-up page to check out open opportunities. 

Mass Tomorrow: We will have all-school Mass tomorrow for the Feast Day of St. Charles Borromeo with 7th Graders leading the Mass. Please join us! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. Students must be in uniform. Our new playground will be blessed immediately afterward!
 
Pizza Lunch: Our next pizza lunch fundraiser is on Wednesday, November 9! It is sponsored by our 8th Grade class. Print and submit the order form to the School Office by tomorrowWe will no longer accept late orders. Hot lunch will not be served that day. Please have your child bring a cold lunch if they are not ordering pizza. 

Artsonia Artist of the Week: Abigail, one of our 3rd Graders, has been selected as a finalist for this week's Artist of the Week award through Artsonia! The finalist who receives the most online votes between now and Saturday, November 5 will be selected as their Artist of the Week. Please click here to vote and check out Abigail's beautiful artwork! Voting is limited to one vote per computer per day. Winners and their schools receive Blick Art Materials gift certificates. Thank you for supporting our young artist!
 


No School: There is no school on Tuesday, November 8 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences and on Friday, November 11 for Teacher In-service.

Homework Club: This is just a reminder that Homework Club is only meeting on Monday, November 14 this month!
Our scholars had a wonderful time on Halloween!
Students gathered in the Gym before going on a parade. They returned to school to celebrate in their classrooms. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to help at our Halloween parties!
REMINDERS
Operation Christmas Child: Our Student Council is organizing a service project through Samaritan's Purse that sends a shoebox filled with items to poor children worldwide. Students are asked to bring in items to help fill these boxes by tomorrow. Please check out their flier for more information about this project and what items are needed! 

Parent/Teacher Conferences: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Monday, November 7 and Tuesday, November 8. Please note that the only entrance and exit for the school for conferences will be through the West/Gym doors. You are welcome to park in the west lot.

Culver's Night Out: Culver's Night Out is on Monday, November 7 from 5-8 p.m. Mention you're with St. Charles so that we will receive 10% of the evening's sales.

Voting at St. Charles: St. Charles will again be the host voting site for the Village of Hartland's general election on Tuesday, November 8. Voting will be held in the Borromeo Room. Entry and exit for voting will be through the exterior Borromeo Room doors only. If you are attending conferences on Tuesday, November 8 and plan to vote while you're on campus, you will need to exit through the West/Gym doors, walk around the exterior of the building to Circle Drive, and enter through the Borromeo Room doors. You will not be able to walk through the school to get to the Borromeo Room. 

Women of Christ Conference: Last call to register for the Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, November 5 at the Washington County Fair Park! This year's theme is "A Time for Fearless Faith." Check out their flier for more information, and please visit their website to register. 
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Lunch Room & Health Room: We would love your help in our lunch room and health room! Please visit our sign-up pages to see what opportunities are available. Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school.
COMMUNITY NEWS
Warhawk Wrestling: All students in 5K-8th Grade are invited to register for the Youth Wrestling Program at Arrowhead! Please visit their flier for more information.
