We're blessed to have Fr. Ariel visit our classrooms on Wednesdays!
Students love interacting with him and asking questions. We love having his positive energy in the school!
NEWS & NOTES
Parent Information Night: Parents with students in 3K-4th Grade are invited to our Parent Information Night tonight at 5:30 p.m. Parents are invited to park in the West lot. The night will begin in the Gym, and parents will be able to meet teachers, get more information, and check out classrooms!

Early Release Day: We will have early release on Tuesday, September 20.  All students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. that day.

MATHCOUNTS: Does your middle-school student enjoy math? Here's a great opportunity for them! The first MATHCOUNTS meeting will be on Thursday, September 22 at 3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Mullen's room (109). Please read the flier for more information and contact Mrs. Mullen with any questions.

Dress Down Pass Sale: The Home & School Association will be selling dress down passes from September 19-30! Each child can purchase two packs of five dress down passes ($10/pack). Check out Sunday's Week Ahead email for the order form. The fee will be applied to your TADS account; please do not send cash/checks. Students must use all of their 1st semester passes by February 1. Dress down passes cannot be used on Mass days. Passes purchased during this sale will be distributed to families the week of October 10.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Lunch Room & Health Room: We would love your help in our lunch room and health room! Please visit our sign-up pages to see what opportunities are available. Please remember that volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school.
REMINDERS
Homework Club: We're excited to announce our Homework Club is returning this year! Is your child interested in being a peer mentor/tutor? Do you have a younger student who might need homework help? Please visit our mentor/tutor sign-up sheet for more information for students in 6th-8th Grade and our homework club sign-up sheet for students in 1st-5th Grade.

Birthday Book Club: Celebrate your child's birthday by donating a new, pre-selected book to our school library! Visit the Birthday Book Club flier for more information and to sign up.

Photo Directory: If you ordered items during the first round of parish photo directory sessions in June, they are available to be picked up! Please visit the Parish Office for your order.

After-School Care: We are currently looking for an After-School Care Assistant! Please contact the School Office for more information. This position will be Monday through Friday from 3:15-5:45 p.m. 

Girl Scouts: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. At St. Charles, we currently have Troops for 1st-4th Grade. We are looking for Troop Co-Leaders and other volunteer positions to start a 5K Daisy Troop. If you are interested in having your daughter join Girl Scouts, please fill out the interest form (new scouts only). Please contact Kim Halvorson if you have any questions.  

Women of Christ Conference: The Women of Christ Conference will be on Saturday, November 5 at the Washington County Fair Park. This year's theme is "A Time for Fearless Faith." Check out their flier for more information, and please visit their website to register.

Girls' Softball: U8 Fillies softball is open to girls in 1st and 2nd Grade! Please visit their flier for more information. Tryouts are on Monday, September 19 at 5:30 p.m. 

CMH Girls' Basketball
: Is your daughter interested in playing basketball at Catholic Memorial this upcoming season? Registration is now open for girls in 4th-8th Grade! Please visit their website for more information and to register.
