NEWS & NOTES
COVID Update: We currently do not have any students or staff at home in isolation for testing positive for COVID or in quarantine due to being considered a close contact outside of St. Charles. Please remember to continue monitoring your child's health daily and keep your kids home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well. We are grateful for all of your prayers and support for our students, staff, and school community!
2022-2023 Calendar: Our calendar for the 2022-2023 school year is now available! Please review the calendar and save this information for Fall.
Pizza Lunch: Our next pizza lunch is on Wednesday, April 13! It is sponsored by our 7th Grade class. Please print and submit the order form to the School Office by Friday, April 8.
New Playground: As you may remember, our old playground was unable to be salvaged when construction began on our new church last Spring. We have been actively working with Lee Recreation, and our goal is to have a new playground in time for the start of the 2022-2023 school year! Please visit our website for more information on how to help support this very exciting project.
Safe Environment Week: Safe Environment Week will be observed from April 24-30 at St. Charles and throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Archbishop Listecki's Proclamation highlights the critical issue of keeping our children safe. Teachers will be communicating the specific lesson they will teach from the Archdiocese's Circle of Grace program about the importance of physical and emotional safety. T ogether we pray for the parents, teachers, catechists, and all who work with children and young people; that they may be faithful in their responsibility to protect those entrusted to them by providing safe environments for our children to live, learn, and grow. We pray to the Lord.
Math Club Update: Congratulations to the St. Charles Math Club for reaching Gold Level Status in the National Math Club! Their Gold Level Project, a student-led, math-based service project, was very creative and well done, satisfying all requirements. This is an extremely commendable accomplishment! Students received certificates to recognize their achievements. We are so proud of these students! The Math Club is led by middle-school math teacher Mrs. Mullen.
