MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Dear Parents,

Thank you to parents and families for joining us last week to celebrate our children and the Advent Season. It was an amazing night of music and fun. As I stated that evening, it felt so good to finally be all together again!

A big shout-out to Mr. Sudbrink for all his hard work with our students and for creating a wonderful evening for us to enjoy! It was so fun to see our students actively engaged with music, having fun with the songs, watching our 1st Graders play instruments while our middle schoolers sang, and all of us joining together in song to end the evening. Our teachers deserve many thanks for their flexibility and scheduling of rehearsals and assistance during the concert. This took a tremendous amount of teamwork, and I am incredibly proud of our team! An additional thank-you to Mr. Krofta for his work with our band students! Nothing beats coming together as a school community and witnessing our Lord's work through our amazing and wonderful children.

Following His plan,
Mr. Garvey
NEWS & NOTES
COVID Update: We currently have two students and one staff member at home in isolation due to testing positive for COVID-19. Additionally, we have five students in quarantine due to being considered close contacts outside of St. Charles. Please remember to continue monitoring your child's health daily and keep your kids home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well. We are grateful for all of your prayers and support for our students, staff, and school community!

Lockdown Drill: We conducted our lockdown drill yesterday (December 15), and everything went very well! Hartland Police Department was on site and assisted with the walkthrough of the building. Our students and staff did a great job, and at this time, HPD does not have any recommendations for us. We will continue to practice and assess our safety procedures so that we can make any necessary improvements to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Thank you for taking the time to talk with your children about these types of drills and why they are important to practice.

Hot Lunch Orders: We will be changing the lunch order process for St. Charles students beginning Wednesday, January 5. Instead of ordering ahead using the online form, teachers will be collecting student lunch choices each morning in the classroom. Parents will no longer need to place lunch orders. Students will still have two entr=C3=A9e options each day to choose from. Please visit Kettle Moraine's website to see what lunch options are available each day in advance so that students know which entr=C3=A9e they would like. If you have any questions regarding the daily lunch count process, please contact Kettle Moraine

Re-enrollment for 2022-2023 School Year: Re-enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year begins today! You will receive an email from TADS to enroll your child for next year. We want to make sure you are able to reserve your spot now as we will be opening enrollment for all new families starting January 17, 2022.
