MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.
Dear Parents,
Happy Advent!
We are blessed in so many ways, and during this joyous Advent season, we are able to take a step back from the day to day and focus on where, when, and how Jesus fits into our lives as we ready our hearts and minds for His birth. We started our journey into these exciting four weeks by entering the school on Tuesday in silence and dimmed lights, and we will continue with silent entrance on Mondays and silent dismissal on Fridays throughout Advent. This simple act allows us to be reminded that we are waiting in holy preparation for the coming of our Lord.
As our hearts remain heavy and we grieve for those most affected by the tragedy in Waukesha, it is prayer and love for one another that will prevail over any act of evil or violence. St. Charles Parish and School is a strong community of prayer warriors, so please continue to keep our greater community in your prayers.
In honor and remembrance of Jackson Sparks, the 8-year-old boy who was killed in the Waukesha Christmas Parade and an avid baseball player/fan, we are asking all students and staff to participate in what is now becoming a nationwide effort to show support for this young man by wearing a baseball jersey or baseball shirt on Friday, December 3.
Following His plan,
Principal Garvey
