We are extremely proud of our 8th Grade volleyball teams and are excited to see them represent St. Charles in the upcoming Seton Volleyball Tournament!
Congratulations to our two 8th Grade girls' teams and our 8th Grade boys' team for a wonderful and hard-fought season!

Come see our teams play and cheer them on to victory at the Milwaukee Sting Center (N54W13904 Northpark Dr, Menomonee Falls)!

Monday, November 1: 8th Grade Boys - 5:30 p.m. (pool play - they will play multiple games)
Tuesday, November 2: 8th Grade Girls (Div. 2) vs. St. Agnes - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 3: 8th Grade Girls (Div. 1) vs. St. Joe's (Grafton) - 5:30 p.m.
In support of our volleyball teams, we will have some dress down days next week!

NEWS & NOTES
COVID Update: We currently do not have any students or staff in isolation for testing positive for COVID. We have four students in quarantine due to being considered close contacts of a positive case outside of St. Charles. Please remember to continue monitoring your child's health daily and keep your kids home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well. We are enormously grateful for all of your prayers and support for our students, staff, and school community!

Halloween: Students can wear orange and black tomorrow in celebration of Halloween! They are able to put on costumes for the parade and classroom parties. Please make sure that costumes are simple so that students can easily change into them. No fake weaponry is allowed as part of a costume.

Trunk or Treat: Thank you to everyone who participated in Trunk or Treat last week! We would also like to especially thank Angela Waterman, Elly Beede, Jen O'Brien, and the Home & School Association for all of their hard work on this event!

Book Fair: The Follett Book Fair will run from November 9-14! It will be open in the Borromeo Room during school hours on November 9 and 10, outside of the school library during Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 10 and 11, and after all weekend Masses on November 13 and 14. Treat Our Teachers: The Hospitality Committee will be providing dinner and breakfast for our teachers during conferences. They would love your help in donating food items. They will also be ordering Cousins subs for dinner. If you'd like to contribute toward the cost of the subs, please place a SCRIP order for a Cousins Subs gift card no later than November 3. Thank you for your generosity! 

Parent/Teacher Conferences: We are looking forward to connecting with parents at our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 11. We will be offering both in-person and virtual options. Registration information will be coming soon via Sign-up Genius.

REMINDERS
Hot Lunch: Hot lunch orders for the week of November 8 open tomorrow! Please visit Kettle Moraine's website to place your order by Wednesday, November 3. Late orders will not be accepted.  

Trivia Night: Registration is open for Trivia Night on SaturdayNovember 20! The deadline to sign up is Friday, November 12. Please visit our website for more information and to register! 

Auction Volunteers: We have a few opportunities to help with the St. Charles Annual Dinner & Auction! This is a great way to meet fellow St. Charles families. Please visit our sign-up page to check out the areas in which we need help. 

Volunteer Opportunities: We would love your help in our lunch room and health room! Interested in volunteering? Please visit the Lunch Room sign-up page and the Health Room sign-up page to check out open opportunities. Parents must be safeguarded and have a current background check (from within the last five years) in order to volunteer. Please contact the School Office if you are unsure of your status. Our 8th Graders recently completed paintings of the seven sacraments!
