From Principal Anderson
While I knew it was coming, I am still surprised that the end of the year is here. I have relished my time with the students, staff and families in these last weeks - each hug has been welcomed. I'm looking forward to an official send-off this weekend at all Masses: 5 pm Saturday and 7 am, 9 am, 11 am and 6 pm Sunday.
At the Masses this weekend, you will also hear about the Annual Development Fund (ADF). The ADF helps bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating students at St. Charles and what we collect for tuition and fees. We're grateful for the support of the parishioners who help subsidize our school budget. Their support helps keep the mission of Catholic education possible for all families.
As we plan for the future of St. Charles Parish School, I place a great deal of trust in the parishioners as they also support our operating budget through donations to the Annual Development Fund.
It is with this support we all are able to walk beside the students as we shape their faith, morals and academics.
The Annual Development Fund has been a part of our school budget for the last eight years. It has a great tradition of support. As you hear our school advocates at Masses, please prayerfully consider a gift to the school=E2=80=99s Annual Development Fund. Letters were sent to each family earlier this spring and envelopes will be available at all Masses this weekend. If you would like to give online please follow this link.
This support fund means a great deal to me and I'm grateful to leave St. Charles with a solid plan for the future - for our students, staff and families. I'm confident that support for Catholic education will continue to grow at St. Charles and I am confident that St. Charles Parish School will continue to grow and be successful.
St. Charles is in great hands - an amazing, hard-working staff, superb students and great, supportive families - not to mention a well-prepared principal ready to work.
I look forward to seeing you at Masses this weekend. If we don=E2=80=99t get a chance for a final hug, know that I am close and will be visiting. Trust me, I wouldn=E2=80=99t miss Fall Fest in September!
With deepest gratitude,
Mrs. Anderson

Those dates will be finalized with the School Leadership Team and our new principal Mr. Garvey, and they do not affect any days not in session. This is a link to the 2018-2019 School Calendar.

Last Call For Diapers!
The School Staff is taking part in a final service project for the year and we invite school families to join us. We are collecting diapers of any size and baby wipes for Life's Connection in Waukesha, which serves women in need through the journey of motherhood.
Please place donated items underneath the JOY display on the IMC window by Thursday, June 7. All donations will be delivered to Life's Connections on June 7. We ask Mary, our Mother, to bless and protect all mothers and babies. Thank you for your support!
The School Office is open all summer! Summer hours for the School Office are 9 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday. If you call when no one is in the School Office please leave a message and we will return the call. Please also email your questions to school@stcharleshartland.org.
The "Weekly Rundown" newsletter will continue each week and look for those emails on Thursday mornings this summer. There is a lot of information shared over the summer so be sure to take a look at it each week.
