COVID-19 Update:
We currently have one student quarantining at home due to being considered a close contact after exposure to a positive case outside of St. Charles. We are extremely grateful for the tremendous efforts all of our families continue to make to help keep in-person learning going and our students and staff safe. Please keep our St. Charles School community in your prayers!
Lunch Help Today: We can use a couple of extra hands at our Chick-fil-A Lunch
today! If you are free any time between
11 a.m. and
12:30 p.m., we would love your help. Please contact the
School Office to let us know if you can stop by.
No School =E2=80=94 Teacher In-service (2/26): Our teachers will participate in part two of Sustaining the Mission
tomorrow, hosted by the Saint Clare Center of Cardinal Stritch. Each year, our staff designates two days during the year (as required by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee) to come together with other teachers from around the Archdiocese to reflect, learn, and grow in their faith as well as discover new ways to bring Christ into our classrooms.
Superhero Day: In celebration and recognition of our students' achievements with Winter MAP Testing, we are having a Superhero dress down day on
Monday, March 1! Students and staff can wear their favorite superhero outfit (school appropriate =E2=80=94 no weapons). Congratulations to all of our Superhero Learners! We are so proud of you!
IOWA Testing (3, 5, and 7): Starting on
Monday, March 1, students in grades 3, 5, and 7 will begin IOWA Testing. Keep an eye out for additional information from your child's teacher.
Yearbook Photos: We are in need of photos for our yearbook! If you have pictures of students in band (with their instrument), Boy Scouts, and/or Ski Club as well as pictures of mass servers, we would like to include them. We would also love candid photos of students learning virtually, too! Please send photos to
Amy Galati.
Capuchin Hygiene Bags: St. Charles will be participating in the Capuchin Community Services hygiene item drive this year as our Lenten service project! Donated items will be given to those in need at House of Peace and St. Ben's in Milwaukee. Items will be collected in classrooms from
March 1 through
March 26, and students are asked to bring in the below items. Items can either be full size or travel size. Thank you for helping us serve others!
