MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Dear Parents,

You will receive an email from your child's teacher this afternoon with information pertaining to their class for Parent Information Night. Teachers have created videos that will walk you through all of the different components of the class. Please keep an eye out for this email later today!

This afternoon, students in 1st-8th Grade will bring home instructions and login information for the Parent Portal for PowerSchool. This will give you access to your child's information and allow you to monitor their grades. Please ask your child for the handout when they get home.

Thank you for all of your help and support in making our pick-up procedure work smoothly. Just a friendly reminder for those who are utilizing the safe parking area to please wear a mask while you are waiting for your child(ren) and to refrain from gathering in the parking lot. We sincerely appreciate everyone's efforts in keeping our students, staff, and families safe!

I have to keep saying it =E2=80=94 thank you for doing your part to help keep our kids in school! Everyone is doing a great job keeping kids at home when they are not feeling well, even for the "little" things. If you or your child experience any symptoms of COVID, your child needs to stay home, and you should consult your child's pediatrician or primary care physician for further guidance. As the saying goes, we are in this together, and we need everyone to play nice in the sandbox. I have the utmost confidence in our school community to continue working together to make this work and allow us to have our students in the building five days per week!

Following His plan,
Mr. Garvey

Parents are asked to also attend the training sessions as we will cover how we schedule servers and answer any questions you or your child may have.

NEWS & NOTES
Dress Down Pass Sale: Dress down passes are on sale until tomorrow! Purchase five dress down passes for $10 and let your kids have days off from wearing their uniform. For 1st semester:  Each child can purchase 2 packs of 5 dress down passes ($10/pack).  Print the form here and turn it in to the School Office. The fee will be applied to your TADS account; please do not send cash/checks. Students must use all of their 1st semester passes by February 1.  Dress down passes cannot be used on Mass days. Passes purchased during this sale will be distributed to families the week of October 12.

Hot Lunch: As we have mentioned in the last couple of Weekly Rundowns, we are ready to launch a new hot lunch program as we have developed a partnership with Kettle Moraine Public Schools. The one piece that we still need in place in order to move forward is to hire a food service employee. This individual will be hired by the KM School District and is responsible for some food prep, minor cooking, serving, general kitchen cleaning, and a warm, smiling face (under the mask). The hours are approximately 10 a.m.-1 p.m. If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please email Principal Garvey.

Recess Supervisor: We are still looking to hire an extra recess supervisor for the school year! If you would like to help out and/or learn more, please email Dan Garvey. The hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
