MISSION
STATEMENT:
St. Charles Parish School
in Hartland, Wisconsin
nourishes and grows a
vibrant Catholic community
committed to innovation,
responsiveness and
compassion as it prepares
and challenges students in
their intellectual,
spiritual and moral lives.
Dear
Parents,
We are only days away from
kicking off the 2020-2021
school year! Teachers and
staff have been busy
organizing the school,
collaborating on all the new
procedures in place to keep
students and staff safe,
learning about new
technology, and preparing
their classrooms to welcome
our students back. Looking
forward to having students
back in the building is an
understatement — we've
missed our kiddos more than
you can ever imagine and
can't wait to see them! We
are excited to see you all
at Meet & Greet on
Monday.
We will be sending out class
lists for this year
tomorrow! Keep an eye out
for that email in the
afternoon.
We are looking to hire an
extra recess supervisor for
the upcoming school year. If
you would like to help out
and/or learn more about this
position, please email
me.
We would need your help from
11
a.m. to
1
p.m.
Following His plan,
Mr. Garvey

WHAT'S
NEW?
Parent
Coffee Social: Please
join us for coffee and
fellowship with other
parents on Thursday,
September 3 after
drop off! While this annual
Home & School event will
look a little different this
year, we still have much to
celebrate! Please bring your
own coffee and lawn chair,
be mindful of social
distancing, and look for us
by the Marian statue to the
East of church. This is a
wonderful opportunity for
new and returning parents to
connect, fellowship with
other parents, and welcome
new faces to the St. Charles
community. Remember to park
on a side street, not in the
church/school parking
lot. We look forward to
seeing you!
Paid Lunch Program:
St. Charles is in
the process of considering a
new lunch provider for this
school year. As some
providers require a minimum
amount of orders daily, we
are asking families to
complete this
survey by
Wednesday,
September 2
to let us know if you would
be interested. Thank you for
your help!

Meet & Greet: We
are very much looking
forward to welcoming you
back on Monday,
August 31 from
12-6
p.m.!
Although our Meet and
Greet will look different
this year, we will still
make sure that you have
time to meet our teachers
and staff and get supplies
to the classrooms. Please
have your child’s supplies
in a bag or box (labeled
with their name). You can
park in the lot and walk
up to the appropriate
grade-level station.
Teachers will be present
at the stations to meet
with you and gather
supplies. We also have
parent volunteers who will
assist with getting
supplies to the
appropriate classrooms so
that teachers can take the
time to meet students and
chat with parents. We ask
that you practice social
distancing and wear a mask
as we work through these
new situations. We
sincerely appreciate
everyone’s help and
understanding!
First Week of
School: As
stated in the Reopening Plan, we will ease
into the school year by
having half of the

September 1
and the other half on Wednesday,
September 2.
All students will
report to school on Thursday,
September 3
and Friday,
September 4.
Tuesday,
