We are still looking for an additional lunch/recess supervisor to help for the remainder of the school year. If you have some time to spare (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and would like to hang out in the lunchroom and on the playground with our students, please email me to learn more. WHAT'S NEW?
Staff Breakfast Thank You: Thank you to Kristen Jessup and Liz Mrugacz for organizing the Staff Breakfast during Catholic Schools Week! We'd also like to thank all of the parents who brought in items, as well. Our staff greatly appreciated breakfast!
Bus Driver Appreciation Week: Next week is Bus Driver Appreciation Week! If your family rides the bus, please be sure to thank your bus drivers in some way. Any small gesture is appreciated!
Home & School Association: Our HSA needs you! Our Home & School Association (HSA) oversees fundraising and social activities at school as well as works together to ensure we have volunteers to help with school projects. We need parents to help fill the HSA positions that will be opening in the next year. Our open positions are: Room Parent Program Coordinator, School Commission Liaison, and President Elect for 2020-2021. For additional information, please click here. MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition: We'd like to congratulate the five St. Charles Parish School students who participated in the MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition on Saturday, February 1 at UW-Milwaukee. Participants were comprised of mathletes from the Milwaukee, Southeast, and Waukesha Chapters. There were 270 mathletes from 37 schools who participated in the competition. We congratulate our mathletes Jack Basarich, Gabe Collins, Charlie Ingrisano, Bobby Walsh, and Trevor Waltersdorf for doing a great job at the Regional Competition, led by their coach Mrs. Kathy Mullen! We are proud of their accomplishments and achievements in the area of mathematics.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Screenagers: We will be hosting film screenings of Screenagers (Part 1) on Sunday, February 9 at 7 p.m. and Screenagers: Next Chapter (Part 2) on Sunday, March 1 at 7 p.m., both in the Borromeo Room. If you are interested in attending one or both of these showings, please RSVP here for Screenagers and here for Screenagers: Next Chapter.
Culver's Night Out: St. Charles Night at Culver's will be on Monday, February 10 from 5-8 p.m. Mention you're with St. Charles, and 10% of sales from the evening will be donated to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out.
Christian Women Potluck: The Christian Women Winter Potluck will be on Wednesday, February 12 at 6 p.m. All women of the parish are invited to come! We will be enjoying an appetizer-themed potluck this time, so bring your favorite appetizer to share. Too busy to make something? Come enjoy anyway =E2=80=94 there will be plenty for everyone! Beverages and cake will also be provided. You are able to sign up on the sign-up shelf outside of church or by clicking here to register. We are in need of volunteers for set up and clean up, the welcome table, and hostessing during the event. Please contact Amy Ferguson or Nancy Van De Laarschot with any questions and/or if you are able to help!
Endter's Night: St. Charles Night at Endter's in Hartland will be on Sunday, February 16 from 4-10 p.m.! Endter's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out.
