MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.
Parents and Students, 

It has been brought to our attention that there might be some confusion in regards to Friday, December 20 on whether it is a full day of school or an early release day. We will have early release at 11:45 a.m. on December 20. Our sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused. 

A huge thank you to Debra Acker and all of the parent volunteers for their hard work during our highly-successful book fair last week! Students were excited to check out all of the wonderful books and loved the games and chances to win prizes and gift cards for the fair. 

Thank you to the HSA hospitality team for providing dinner and breakfast for teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. A special thank you to Kristen Jessup and Liz Mrugacz for delivering the food and setting everything up!

WHAT'S NEW?
Rosary Group: Our Parent Rosary Group will be meeting again on Monday, November 25 at 8:30-8:50 a.m. in the Spanish Room. Join us to pray for students, staff, parents, and the St. Charles community. All are welcome to join in prayer - no experience necessary! Prayer sheets and rosaries will be provided. 

Artsonia Holiday Sales: Help raise funds for our school art program! Holiday cards are now available at discounted prices on Artsonia's website. You will need to log in using your child's account to purchase items. You can also get 25% off any one item with the code HolidayFunds19; this is valid through December 16. Don't forget - St. Charles earns 20% on all purchases.  

Winter Gear Donations: We are always in need of gloves and mittens in the school office for students who forget or misplace them. If you have any items that are no longer needed or find good deals during the holiday season, we would appreciate your donations! 

Lost and Found: Has your child lost anything recently? Please be sure to have them check our full Lost and Found bins by the school office!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Endter's Night: St. Charles Night at Endter's in Hartland will be on Sunday, November 17 from 4-10 p.m. Endter's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles. Dine in or carry out.

Family Thanksgiving Mass: We are in need of students to help participate in the Family Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday, November 27 at 7 p.m. Volunteer children will need to arrive by 6:45 (or earlier if they are a greeter). Click here for more information and for the sign-up form.

Jingle Shop: Our Jingle Shop will be open to students on Friday, December 6 during the school day! Interested in helping? Click here to volunteer!

Culver's Night Out: St. Charles Night at Culver's will be on Monday, December 9 from 5-8 p.m. Mention you're with St. Charles, and 10% of sales from the evening will be donated to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out.

NEWS & NOTES

Writers' Workshop Information: St. Charles is actively integrating Writers' Workshop instruction into our curriculum. Click here to learn more about the program!

Vase Donations: Have vases that you no longer want? We'll take them! We are in need of vases that can be used as part of our decor at the auction. Please note: they will not be returned to you. Please place vases in the box outside of the office. Thank you for your donation! 

Jingle Shop Donations: Laurie DeAngelis and her team are coordinating our Jingle Shop this year! We are in need of many new items for the Jingle Shop. Please consider donating an item so that we have enough gifts for all of the kids to purchase treasures for their loved ones. There is a bin outside of the school office to collect small gifts. All items are due by Wednesday, November 27. Thank you for your donations!
