The Weekly Rundown

MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Parents and Students,

July has come and gone, but summer isn=E2=80=99t over yet! We are moving along nicely as we are getting ready for the new school year. Classrooms are getting put back together, the main office went through a small transformation, and many packages of supplies are showing up daily. Very exciting stuff from my viewpoint, not so much from the student perspective. We will continue to use the remaining weeks of summer to be ready to go on Day One (Monday, Aug. 26!) Until then, keep summering on!

TADS Agreements: Tuition agreements are in the process of being completed. Please keep an eye out for an email from TADS in the coming weeks and promptly complete your agreement. Completing the agreements won't take long and this quick response makes for an easy start to the school year. Thank you in advance!

Staff Departures: It is always difficult to say goodbye to staff members that make the difficult decision to leave St. Charles to pursue other career options, but we are very blessed to have had the opportunity to work and learn from these individuals. We are sad to see them go, but very happy and excited for them as they take on new challenges and, of course, bring a little of St. Charles with them.

Stephanie Bauer (3K Teaching Assistant) - Mrs. Bauer was not only our 3K Teaching Assistant, but she was also completing her student teaching in 2nd grade with Mrs. Halvorson. She finished up the education program at Alverno College this spring and was hired at St. Anthony=E2=80=99s on the Lake in Pewaukee to teach 1st Grade. We are excited for Mrs. Bauer to remain in Lake Country and I know she will still be very present at St. Charles as a parent, parishioner and volunteer.

Jeanne Marie Stalteri (Music) - Ms. Stalteri absolutely loved her time here at St. Charles and sincerely enjoyed working with the students and getting to know families. Her work brought our music program to a new level and we are so appreciative for everything she did in her short time with us.

Fred Suchy (Technology) -  Mr. Suchy has spent the past seven years teaching technology to the students of St. Charles and is taking on a new role teaching high school students. We are thankful for all the years of service that he has provided our students and we wish him all the best in his new adventure.

Christina Holmes (Advancement Officer) - Christina has made the very difficult decision to pursue another career path through Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Although we will greatly miss her and the fantastic work she does, we are so proud and excited for her to take her amazing talents and share them with others. We have been truly blessed to have Christina for the past four years as she has worked above and beyond to get the St. Charles name out there and fundraise and increase student enrollment.

We wish Mrs. Bauer, Ms. Stalteri, Mr. Suchy and Christina all the best in their new adventures and we send them and their families so many prayers.

4 P=E2=80=99s in a Pod:  We are excited about our new partnership with 4 P=E2=80=99s in a Pod and have received awesome feedback from parents, as well as other schools that use 4 P=E2=80=99s about the amazing and healthy food options, easy ordering process, little to no waste, and an overall positive experience. Here is a response we recently received from a parent: "My kids just ordered hot lunches from 4 P's and it took about 8 minutes to set up the account and make selections. And I already paid for lunches in September which is so nice! Simple, easy and organized. So much better.=E2=80=9D

Have you set up your hot lunch account? Take a minute to do it NOW. Click HERE to learn about the new hot lunch program and to order lunch for your children. As we previously stated, we found a new hot lunch vendor when Taher, our previous vendor, decided to no longer service St. Charles Parish School. Order lunches for August and September by Thursday, Aug. 15.
