THE WEEKLY RUNDOWN
June 27, 2019

The Weekly Rundown

MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

Parents and Students,

The Hartland Hometown Parade is this Sunday! We want everyone to come on out and walk together to show our School and Parish pride. This year we are blessed to have the use of a fire truck from the Woelfle Family to lead us through the streets of Hartland! Please join us on Sunday, June 30th starting at 1:00 pm. We will meet on Hartbrook Drive where all the staging takes place and will begin walking at 1:30 pm. We are number 37 in the lineup. If you are interested in walking, please sign up HERE. Wear your St. Charles spirit wear or past parade t-shirts! Also, bring some candy (non-chocolate) to throw to children and adults as we walk. I am looking forward to this annual event!

TADS Accounts: Please check your TADs account to complete any tuition, lunch and/or SCRIP charges. All charges (lunch, SCRIP, library books, etc.) for the month of May/June (if applicable) have been added to your TADS account. All payments should be made prior to Sunday, June 30, 2019. We greatly appreciate your attention to this matter as we close out the fiscal year.

Hot Lunch Program: We recently received notice that our hot lunch provider, Taher, will no longer be able to service St. Charles. Starting this summer, 4 P=E2=80=99s in a Pod will be working with us to provide our students with a hot lunch option. Please know that there will be significant changes in our hot lunch program, but we are confident that 4 P=E2=80=99s in a Pod will be a great fit for St. Charles. Please keep an eye out for a separate email in the coming weeks with more information in regards to ordering, prices, menu options, and new procedures.

ADF:  As you know our Annual Development Fund is a general fund that helps fund all school activities and fills the gap from what we collect in tuition and fundraising and the true cost to educate a student which is about $6,000. We rely on the ADF to support the solid Catholic education we=E2=80=99re able to offer at St. Charles Parish School. If you still have your Annual Development Fund offering envelope at home, please consider making a donation and bringing it to Mass this weekend or by sending it in the mail. You can also make a donation online. Thank you for your consideration to this important fund. With your continued support, we will continue to flourish and offer a premier Catholic education to our community.

Summer Office Hours:  Monday - Thursday (9:00 am to 2:00 pm) Please know that we are always a phone call (262-367-2040) or email away if you need anything.

Following His plan,

Dan Garvey
Principal
St. Charles Parish School
