Next month our new Associate Pastor will arrive to St. Charles Parish and School. Deacon Nick Baumgardner (soon-to-be Fr. Nick Baumgardner) begins his time at St. Charles the week of June 16. We're excited to meet Deacon Baumgardner and we look forward to his classroom visits. Field Day is less than two weeks away on Wednesday, May 22 (with a rain date of May 23) and the kids and some teachers are already talking about the games and which teams will win. This is an event that relies on parent volunteers. Have you fulfilled your volunteers hours (40 hours for full-time students, 20 hour for the families of 4K students and 10 hours for families of 3K students?) Hours must be fulfilled by May 31. The final two Rosary Group sessions will be Wednesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 29 in the Life Teen Cafe. Come pray for our school and students, teachers, staff and all families as we embark on summer break. Reciting the rosary begins promptly at 8:30 am and is finished before 9 am. Please Come!

Young boys interested in Cub Scouts are welcome to learn more about the group on Wednesday, May 15. Pack 24 is chartered by St. Charles Catholic Church. Boys in grades 4K through 4th Grade will meet during the day on May 15 and then parents are welcome to a recruitment event later that night at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Cub Scouts provides a wide range of exciting activities. The Cub Scout program is designed to positively influence character development and encourage spiritual growth. The boys will develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship, sportsmanship, and improve understanding within the family. * All Library Books Due Thursday, May 23: Special arrangements can be made directly with Mrs. Acker if there are books needed for classroom projects after the deadline.

Look for the box tops around your house and then pass on the information to family members and send them in! Please drop off Box Tops by Friday, May 31.

* Retreat At Schoenstatt Center: All moms are welcome to a Bethany Retreat for Mothers with Young Children. It's on Wednesday, May 15 and runs from 8:45 am to 1 pm. The retreat includes an inspirational talk, confessions, Mass and lunch. For more information click HERE.
