NEWS & NOTES
Staff Update: We are pleased to announce that Ms. Margo Vogelsang will be joining us as a 5K Teaching Aide! She was formerly a preschool teacher for eight years and is excited to be part of our 5K Team. 

Homework Club: Our Homework Club is starting soon! Is your child interested in being a peer mentor/tutor? Do you have a younger student who might need homework help? Please check out our mentor/tutor sign-up sheet for more information for students in 6th-8th Grade and our sign-up sheet for students in 1st-4th Grade. The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 25. 

Dress Down Pass Sale: First semester dress down passes are for sale through Friday, September 25 at 3 p.m. Cash, check or online payment are accepted. Please fill out the paper order form or complete the online form. Passes will be sent home with students the week of September 28. 
REMINDERS
Pizza Lunch: Our 8th Graders are sponsoring our pizza lunch fundraiser on Wednesday, September 23! Please print and submit the order form to the School Office by tomorrow, September 18. Sorry, no late orders will be accepted. Please note, no hot lunch will be served on Wednesday, September 23.

Pray With Other Parents: Join parish member and school parent Claire Stoiber for a pop-in-style parent prayer group this school year. This informal small group welcomes parents on Wednesdays from 2:45-3:15 p.m. to hop out of their vehicles to lift their needs up to our Lord in community. Meet in the Ministries Room to the right of the main Church entrance for quick fellowship and personal intention sharing starting Wednesday, September 23. Come as often as you would like! Contact Claire Stoiber for more information.   
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer Opportunities: Below are our current volunteer opportunities. Please consider giving your time to St. Charles! Don't forget, volunteers must complete Safe Environment training before they can volunteer in the school!
COMMUNITY NEWS
Hartland Fire Pancake Breakfast: The Hartland Firefighters Association will host their Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 10 from 7 a.m. to noon. Donations are appreciated. Please check out their flyer for more information. 

High School Open Houses: Are you considering which high school to send your child to? Many of the high schools in our area are offering Open House events soon. Save the dates!
