MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.

No School Tomorrow: Please remember that there is no school tomorrow, October 11 for Teacher In-service. Enjoy your long weekend!

Father Daughter Dance: We held our first Father Daughter Dance this past Saturday! Almost two hundred fathers and daughters attended the event. Thank you to Mike and Brandy Kukurba for all of their hard work as well as all of the parents who volunteered to make the dance a success!

Open HSA Positions: The HSA is looking for parents who are interested in shadowing several HSA positions this year to take them over for the 2020-2021 school year. We are in need of a VP Community & School Services shadow, VP Social Relationship Building shadow, and Buddy Family Coordinator shadow. Please sign up here if you are interested.

Daisy Scouts: Looking for kindergarten or first grade girls interested in Daisy Scouts! St. Charles Parish School Troop 11104 is open for registration. Register your child online and search for Troop 11104 St. Charles Hartland. Meetings will begin in November and run monthly. Please consider signing up to be a parent helper, treasurer, and/or cookie lead person. Please contact Amy Galati with any questions.

Chess Team Registration Now Open: Do your kids love chess or want to learn how to play chess? Join the St. Charles School Chess Team as players of all levels are welcome. Chess is a team sport as well as an individual sport. Our team meets about twice a month on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. in the Instructional Meeting Center (IMC). All students in 1st-8th grades are welcome. We welcome students from St. Charles Parish School, students attending public or other private schools, and home-schooled students. The only requirement is that the students are St. Charles parishioners. Long-time chess instructor Chris Seaman, who is well-known in the local chess community, will coach the team. The first team meeting is Wednesday, November 13. We welcome new and returning players. Email Christina Holmes for more information and to register.

Jingle Shop Update: Laurie DeAngelis and her team are coordinating our Jingle Shop this year! Instead of having one class run the program as a fundraiser, Laurie has offered to run this as an all-school fundraiser. The money raised from this year's shop will be used to purchase a water bottle filling station that will be installed outside the gym. The team is in need of new items for the Jingle Shop. Please consider donating an item so we have enough gifts for all of the kids to purchase treasures for their loved ones. There will be a bin in the office to collect small gifts. The team is looking for things such as bath/body care products, hair and nail accessories, jewelry, candles, tools, stationery, small toys, stuffed animals, books, kitchen items (utensils, towels, oven mitts), etc. They also need bags (gift, or even brown or white large lunch bags), tissue paper, and ribbon for wrapping. All items will be priced $5 or less.

Penny Wars: Our Penny Wars end today! Please contribute any spare change you have. All money raised will stay at the school. The two winning grade levels will be announced on Monday. Thank you for your donations!
