  • The nave's worship space is 24,000 sq. ft.
  • The choir loft is 1,200 sq. ft.
  • The seating capacity is 1,170 (including the lower choir area). The choir loft will seat 50. The grand total is 1,230 seats.
  • The Eucharistic Adoration Chapel will have 40 seats.
  • From the floor to the bottom of the dome is 50 feet tall. To the top of the dome is 65 feet tall. The center cupola's ceiling is 108 feet tall.
  • The San Zeno plaques on the front doors are replicas of the original basilica doors in Verona, Italy.
  • Six Tyrolean stained glass windows are from the turn of the century, fabricated in Innsbruck, Austria.
  • The two deer above the sanctuary represent Psalm 42. Another word for deer is "hart," which ties to the affiliation of St. Charles residing in Hartland.

Important Message from Fr. Ken on Parking & the North East Lot is OPEN!

At last two weekend's Masses, Fr. Ken mentioned that we received a letter from the Village of Hartland that he wanted to make the parish aware of and that he needs our help.  First, Fr. Ken thanked those who have used the West Lot to park during our new church construction. The Village has received complaints that some nearby residents are unhappy with the increased street parking since our new church construction. There are many different views and reasons for these complaints. (If you want to know what some of our nearby residents are saying, you are welcome to watch the August 8th Village of Hartland meeting on YouTube.) Fr. Ken is asking all parishioners to park in the West Lot and not on the street. Our North East Parking Lot is now open, so that is good news and will definitely help to alleviate the street parking. On the weekends, doors at the West Lot entrance will be open if you are coming to church. Fr. Ken is grateful for your help and for helping to be the light of Christ in the beautiful community of Hartland!

Note: Daily Mass attendees should use the North East lot.

North East Parking Lot Update - Closed June 25 to July 31

The timing is right in the construction of the new church for the Parking Lot to be done. The North East Parking Lot will be milled and excavated. In addition, new electric light poles and sewer systems will be put in place followed by curbs, paving and striping. As always, we encourage you to use one of the 284 parking spaces in our West Lot.

West Lot Open for Parking!

June 10 through the end of August

With the school year ending, the West Lot will be open for parking June 10 through the end of August. Daily Mass attendees may use the west (gym) doors from 8 am to 9 am to get to church, which will be useful on rainy days. The doors will be open to exit. Please be aware that summer cleaning will be going on in the school and sections of the hallway may be more narrow. On beautiful summer days, we invite you to use the sidewalk on Renson Road and enter through the Borromeo Room doors and enjoy the Garden Club's blooming gardens.

As a reminder, the North East Lot will remain closed Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, making the lot available for parking on weekdays after 3 pm and on weekends.

Street Parking Changes

The Village of Hartland has placed no-parking signs surrounding the parish (as they were during Easter) and will remain until the completion of our new church construction. This will ensure that emergency vehicles will be able to get through. We encourage all parishioners to use the West Parking Lot when available. If you have any questions about the street parking, please direct them to the Village at 262-367-2714 or davef@villageofhartland.wi.gov. Thank you for helping keep our neighborhood safe.

The parish complex will be closed Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22nd and no activities will be allowed in the building. We will be cutting over power to the new building these two days. Morning Masses will be held at St. Teresa of Calcutta, North Lake, Thursday, April 21st at 8am and Friday, April 22nd at 8:30am. We will announce when power has been restored on the parish website banner. Thank you for your continuing flexibility during construction.

Extension of Main Parish Entrance Closure

The main parish entrance closure will be extended through this summer with an anticipated reopen date in late August. The construction of the connecting corridor from the new church to our existing facility necessitates this extension. The Borromeo Room will continue to be the main building entrance for this time period. We will inform you of any changes to the NE parking lot in future communications. Thank you for your patience as we continue to make progress with the builidng of our new church.

Our North East parking lot will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays only due to our new church construction. As you can see, we are making progress with the bell tower and walls being put in place. However, winter has delayed our project a bit. For this reason, the North East parking lot will remain closed during the week through March. We greatly appreciate all your patience as we continue making progress. Please park on the street and enter through our Borromeo Room doors to come to daily Mass or the Parish/School Office. Evening events and weekend activities will not be affected BUT THE ONLY ACCESS INTO THE CHURCH AND THE SCHOOL REMAINS THE BORROREMO ROOM DOORS. Please call the Parish Office with any questions.

Street Parking Sign Romoval

The Village of Hartland will be removing the temporary street no-parking signs. A special thank you to all who are using our two parking lots

Our North East lot off of Circle Drive and our new West lot on Renson Road. If you are not, we encourage you to use these lots, which will help ease the distruption to our neighbors during the construction of our new church. In addition, we have designated the entire row adjacent to the grass area in our North East Lot for handicap parking.

Work recently began on the west parking lot, and parking will not be available in this lot during the summer. The lot will open again at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year. Hartland North has graciously made their parking lot (off of Nixon Avenue) available to us. Enter the Renson Road (School) doors to get to Mass. This is a great opportunity for those looking to get or increase their daily step count! Thank you.

The Village of Hartland Police Department would like us to remind those who park in the streets near the parish and school to comply with all street parking regulations. Blocking driveways and parking too close to an intersection is a violation and vehicles will be cited accordingly. Thank you for being mindful of these parking regulations and our neighbors during our new church construction.

April 18, 2021 - Annoucement from Fr. Ken

Construction on the New Church has Started!

I am happy to say that we have kicked off construction on our new church! Temporary fencing is being installed around the perimeter of the construction site and our construction company, CCI, will begin working on site this week as well as working on the dry detention pond to the west.

Beginning (Monday/tomorrow) April 19 you will notice some changes to our parking and entrances. In addition, we will be moving the daily Mass time Monday through Friday to 9am. This is to help alleviate traffic between school drop off and daily Mass. The Saturday Mass will remain at 8:30am. Our weekend Mass times will remain the same.

There will be two areas in our existing lot to park - the northeast corner off of Circle Drive and the west area accessible at the Renson Road entrance. Parking will also be along the north side of Renson Road. For the weekend Masses, the west side of Circle Drive will be for handicap parking. Thanks to the generosity of Hartland North, there will be additional parking at their school lot off of Nixon Avenue on the weekends. Daily Mass attendees should be able to find parking at the northeast corner. These designated parking areas will be on map (see button below) and in our communication. I also ask that you please be mindful of our neighbors during this time and follow the Village street signs.

Designated Parking Areas Map

Starting next weekend, April 24th and 25th, we will have three ways to enter the building for weekend Masses – through the Borromeo Room doors (off of Circle Drive), through the Renson Road door (by the Tot Lot Playground), and at the Gym entrance. The school elevator will be available for handicap accessibility if you enter at the Gym. We will have signage directing you through the school to the church.

Plans are being made for a ceremonial groundbreaking after an 11am Mass.  We will regularly keep you informed of any updates. We are extremely grateful to all of you for your prayers and support of the Cornerstone Project.

Important Message from Fr. Ken!

It is with great pleasure to tell you that the Archbishop has signed our proxy to build a new church! I want to thank the Building and Planning Committees for their selfless commitment of time, and countless 6 am meetings over the past six years. To all the donors of the Cornerstone Project, I am humbled by your generous financial support to make this project a reality. There is much to accomplish in this next phase, but I know that these are things we can work on together, with your continued support and God’s blessings.  I will keep you informed as we plan for a spring groundbreaking.
